Was worried this would happen. They won’t meet our value, he will refuse to go to turkey and we end up loaning him out to Valencia

Long as the small detail isn't he doesn't wanna sign for Beskitas then we are golden

Good bye and good luck now let's get rid of the real turkeys

Echo a lot of what others have said about him being a good servant and very good player (especially in his first 5 years).

Injuries have taken their toll and we need to reduce our wage bill, generate some funds and refresh the team.

Goodbye and good luck

We should set a deadline for any move to get done. I feel we are waiting for the Wilf fee to complete Kone.

Why?  Kone goes on the books this year as 1 mill and relatively fk all in wages.

Really hope we don’t piss about and mess this up. We need the money, shake hands and let him go

Not sure we have an action here, as if his  release is met, it’s on Wilf. Unless you mean we should accept the lower bid too?

Fully cover the transfer cost with Wilf’s sale. It’s how business should be done at this level rather than gambling and being left in the shit.

We also have a bloated squad, so sales needed first.

If I’m wilf and ive got to choose between Valencia and Istanbul then I’m probably going with Valencia.  Besiktas l8kely to pay him a bit more but perhaps Valencia are hoping to drag money off the transfer fee to give him a chunky s/o fee to compensate

Ndidi’s house is up for sale. So I wouldn’t worry about the deal being held up by someone trying to hijack the deal.

He’s definitely off.

I’ll agree with most  that’s  been said about fee , good servant, not the player he was etc etc . I also think  something that has been  perhaps understated  is the fact it helps freshen the squad up . Wilf’s been here for ages and currently one of the longest serving players  I would think along with Ricardo . When you’ve been at a place too long you start to get too comfortable  which has a knock on effect with your performance . I know Rodgers gets a lot of stick but one thing he was definitely right on was the squad needed a refresh and it didn’t happen . With the likes of Ward, Iverson and dare I say it Vardy  then throw in Wilf  and a lesser extent Coady  that’s a good chunk of players who have been here a while .

Something i didnt think of was its not just a great fee we're getting imagine the wages, he must be on 80-90k a week if Coady was.

Less 25/30% relegation reduction

Turkish sources saying only hold up is unresolved payments between us and Ndidi

Beşiktaş has reached an agreement with Leicester on all matters regarding Wilfred Ndidi's transfer. Although there is no “wet signature” in the discussions with the player’s side, no issues are apparent.

It is expected that the issues in the discussions between Ndidi’s side and Leicester regarding “outstanding payments” will be resolved.

Imagine it’ll be some sort of loyalty bonus. Hadn’t asked for a transfer, been here for a long time etc.

Feel a bit sad he is leaving but we need the money and to reduce our outgoings. All the best, Wilf, and thanks for being a top player for us, especially in the period 2017-2021.
