moore_94 Posted 5 August 2025 Posted 5 August 2025 Upward of £9m, we have done really well on this deal Seeing as it is going to be pretty much all profit as well it might mean we can keep one of Mads / Bilal 1
Tielemans63 Posted 5 August 2025 Posted 5 August 2025 I like Wilf. Seems like a top pro and a good guy, but £9m would be very useful right now. I wish him all the best in Turkey, if that is where he ends up.

James_lcfc Posted 5 August 2025 Posted 5 August 2025 Full redemption arc for Rudkin if this ones goes through...

We paid 15 - 17m for Ndidi but he's been here well beyond the value of his initial contract. His book value is 0. We'll pocket the full value of the sale as "profit" in this years' books. 5 1
ts_1010 Posted 5 August 2025 Posted 5 August 2025 Sensible all round. He wants to play in Europe if he can. We need money. He won't improve, if anything he will decline in value. Let's just use the money well.
Pliskin Posted 5 August 2025 Posted 5 August 2025 Wish Wilf all the best! I’ll remember his time fondly here, but it’s come to an organic end. Enjoy the next stage Wilf!
Popular Post StriderHiryu Posted 5 August 2025 Popular Post Posted 5 August 2025 Sad to see him go, this was a guy that played in the Quarter Finals of the Champions League, the final of the FA Cup, the Semi finals of the Conference Cup, got two 5th places for us and helped us win promotion back to the Premier League. I've always found the pelters that he gets from many to be utterly baffling. The guy stayed around for longer and had more impact than players like Tielemans, Barnes and Maddison, even if he wasn't technically as good. It is time to go and that is a reasonable fee, so I wish him the best of luck for the future. But I personally will miss him a lot. 33 2
UniFox21 Posted 5 August 2025 Posted 5 August 2025 Release clause has helped us out here, a player we'd be happy to let go and a reasonable fee coming our way.
Spudulike Posted 5 August 2025 Posted 5 August 2025 There's going to be an empty box at the top of the West Stand/SK4
Foxes96 Posted 5 August 2025 Posted 5 August 2025 (edited) Have to get a replacement in surely. Winks/ Soumaré/ Skipp isn’t enough for the championship. Hoping for a more mobile box to box player in his place… - Brownhill on a free - Charlie Savage - Sverre Nypan on loan from Man City - Tony Collyer on loan from Man Utd - Trey Nyoni even, back on loan from Lpool? Can’t really imagine Ndidi having “ WAZZUUUUUP!” as his voicemail message.. according to Roy Keane, that’s the main reason why he didn’t sign him for Sunderland.. 1

80footgiraffe Posted 5 August 2025 Posted 5 August 2025 Coady, Ndidi gone. Great to see us trying to make some money for once. Think we’ll see one more first teamer leave for a fee, then maybe a few loans near/on deadline day

MPH Posted 5 August 2025 Posted 5 August 2025 Marti did talk about needing to trim the squad. I don’t imagine we will get a replacement in for everyone we sell.. but we really really do need a striker… 1
