The biggest barrier I think is that they act on the complaints about views being blocked and see this as a far bigger outcome of the tifo than the positive that many more take from them.

This is part of the problem though. It's such a minor thing to get hung up on from their perspective it makes them look so bad. 

 

We know they love a good rep and positive PR. Look how much positive reaction other tifos and displays get from other fans. They could really back you guys in making displays and getting the crowd pumped up on the back of it. 

 

But like you say, they're more worried about a few fans who's view is obscured for a matter of minutes or even seconds. What are they even missing

Amazing seeing them all together. You forget there's been so many.

 

It might sound a bit sentimental, but whenever we do one, it turns our generic bowl stadium into a home with an identity.

Thats the sort of thing the powers at be at the club really need to see.

There might be less complaints if it’s held up during the game and obscuring their vision then 😂

My favourites were "Clock Tower", "Dogs of War" and "World Famous City", but they were all brilliant.

 

(World Famous City maybe best of the lot, and as someone has already said ... even better as most of the thick b'stards up the A46 didn't even get the joke)

Still makes me chuckle that the idiot suits at the club thought "Football played the Fosse Way" was a dig at the style off football being played at the time.

The first one with the foxes head has to be the one for me, mainly because from what I heard the group had zero help from the club with regards seating layout, blocks, aisles, stair wells etc and it took one of them to walk it and map it out.

 

You would think if they asked the powers that be they would give you a template to use. Shows how much actually goes into these before they even start cutting, painting, taping together.

 

Many hours/ weeks work from a lot of them for just a few minutes exposure, shows the commitment.

Well done for the time and effort put in to the tifos, Clock Tower my favorite, hopefully many more..

There are two groups of people in the history of the club which have a lot in common. The lads who originally got together in a shed in 1884 with an idea of setting up a football club - and Union FS. It seems like the same spirit to me. There's certainly more connection there than with the people who run the club now.
