Shame he's going for about £20m. I think he's got every attribute needed to be worth a lot more than that.

That injury really did a number on us.

There’s very few good shot stoppers who are great with the ball at their feet. I wouldn’t be totally surprised if he got a big move even after joining West Hsm or whoever it is

A little off topic, but I was trying to find a West Ham forum like this, to check out their reactions on this transfer. Do you guys know any sites?

I had a look at one and they all seem very keen on Mads but don’t have much faith in Sullivan getting it over the line.
Sullivan seems to be there Rudkin , with added confidence. https://www.kumb.com/forum/

This is getting ridiculous. I'd imagine if your a Hammer you don't know if you're coming or going!

Or they are chucking loads in the media to get the best price.

I feel sorry for the receptionist at their training ground.

”hi, I’m the new goalkeeper”

”wait a minute, let me just find your details on this list of 34 we’ve had in for negotiations today”

You can point the finger at a lot things about our club at the moment, but we still have one of the absolute best fan forums around. Thanks @Mark.

We certainly do, everytime I visit another club’s forum I’m thankful we have FoxesTalk. Thanks Mark

So... one of the positive things about our club right now is something that our club has absolutely nothing to do with. That sounds about right.

As soon as they hired Mad’s old GK coach, he was always their number one choice and still blatantly is. Fairplay to Rudkin and co for not falling for the bait.

I doubt very much him playing against Fiorentina was to prove his fitness, more of a poker move to show we’re not desperate to get rid by risking him in a friendly just as we did with Coady the week before which prompted a quick acceleration in him moving to Wrexham.

And anyone doubting Jakub’s ability needs to rewatch these highlights. Passing ability aside, I’m confident he’s got a higher ceiling than Mads. He’ll go right to the top!

Out of interest why do you think Mads is being picked over him by every manager in the last 2 years?

As I said “he’s got a higher ceiling”. I never said he was currently a better keeper!

So why does he have a higher ceiling, he's only 6 months younger the Hermansen?

Much less experience, Mads was playing first team football consistently for 2 seasons at Brondby, whilst Jakub has had stop start loans with a handful of appearances. Goalkeepers are like a fine wine, get better with age. Experience is key, once he gets a few seasons under his belt playing consistently, I’m confident he’ll be a top keeper.
