For all the praise these lot get for their atmosphere. It was bang bang average.

The only reason their atmosphere is half decent at the moment ... is because they've been absolutely shit for 20 years, and are just enjoying a bit of success.   Give it a season or two of mindless slow side-to-side-and-backwards possession football, and it will get as bad as ours.

I've been to the City Ground more times than I care to remember over the last 50 years, and more often than not, it's been as shit as Derby and Cov or ours    The occasional good atmosphere, when they stuff us in an important match.   And usually much of a muchness with anywhere else in the Midlands.

I’ve given out more rep points today than in the last two months. Isn’t great to have a forum where the haters are quiet for a few days.

Spot on.

The atmosphere at our place in 15-16 and during UCL nights the following season was a big reason for our success. Teams came to an absolute cauldron of noise to play against a side that was absolutely horrible to play against and just folded.

Sevilla is just one such name thay springs to mind. They really, really didn't fancy it. The writing was on the wall the moment Albrighton bagged.

We may be relegated but we still have some little pride

I think we're way past allegedly obese ;)

They never got over it...

I went to Forest vs Cardiff when Hughton was in charge, atmosphere was doggo then. They're at the point we were when we were tearing the league up, when we created the mini earthquake

Thought atmosphere would be good today always seems to be when away games get down to season ticket holders for tickets. But ffs if all these season ticket holders come out and can produce great atmospheres for our away games where tf are they at home matches.

You know what, I don’t think anyone could’ve argued if we’d have won that. Pleasing and equally frustrating at the same time to see us put on a good enough performance where over the course of the season you consistently play like that, it’s probably enough to stay up.

notts forrest going to be fighting relegation next season while they have europe. good stuff

Especially when you consider that teams are going to come in for their better players, even more so if they can offer them something that Forest can’t….

We should also remind ourselves that if our pathetic bottle job had played out this season, instead of the two years we did it in... We'd have still got Champions League by finishing fifth.

Forest have it on a plate for them thanks to the ridiculously generous offer from UEFA this year. And they're still on the cusp of bottling it.

Deffo this. Recall last season and all those cov fans that appeared for their Wembley and final season push, same thing. When you have been starved of any kind of success, everyone will latch on and the atmosphere will improve with the performances

We shouldnt be shouting to much - they are only doing why we did 2 years in a row - bottling it big time - and we also can’t call out anyone when we have been as crap as we have this year - i think we should be a good bit more humble

If we can finish above Ipswich then that's a £4M turnaround in our premiership placing money. £2M per place I believe. Would help a lot next season.

Finishing above Ipswich might yet be much, much more important than that.
