I know it’s the done thing in here to blame Rudkin for absolutely everything from covid  to war in Ukraine …… but I find it difficult to believe he makes up the contracts and deals without sign-off from the suits in accounts. Accountancy is likely not his forte and there are a whole host of heads that should also be rolling for this latest screw-up. 😖

Should’ve cracked on with that expansion years ago gew, the extra revenue could have helped with all this Psr stuff we are currently up against!!!

They don't want us to stay up, Man City will be deducted points but we will have more points deducted. EPL hates us!

But after all that.................FFS King Power what they hell are you doing!?

That’s not happening for a couple of seasons mate

At the end of the day the "PSR 🤓" rules as bad as they are can be bypassed simply by recruiting sensibly.

Whealan must also be absolutley useless. The only certainty is her and Rudkin will still be in position come August regardless of what sanctions are handed down. All the overpaid players will still be here, like Coady, Winks etc. All down to Rudkin. Does he have no conscience , if he did he would surely tender his resignation.

They can only advise if they're not as senior as him/susan in the hierachy no?

Our last FD was poached by Newcastle....

The Athletic suggested punishment may be harsher, not because of how far over the limit we are, but because of 'aggravation' rather than accepting the punishment. They also say the PFL will argue the delay in settling the matter this season was caused by the club not submitting their accounts in time.

Looking very difficult for the club :(

Feels like after the enjoyment and celebrations of Vardy's last day at Leicester on Sunday we are heading towards 'The days of Pompeii'

At the speed the lava flows, still baffles me that people in Pompeii died.

Likely to be at least -12 points with transfer embargo and forced sales lol

I very much doubt The Athletic know anything about our punishment.

Longer term is it in any way encouraging that in January they said there was wiggle room in the budget to bring another player in but they couldn't find one for their budget (tuppence h'apenny and an acorn) who they all felt would improve the side. So in that sense the 24-25 season is either in their within budget range or it'll turn out they got that calculation wrong too and we don't even have that news to look forward to in the next set of figures and 3 year figures :dunno:

The price we will pay for daring to challenge the ‘elite’.

Keep an eye on Forest and Villa over the coming years.

If only they’d run fast they would have still been with us.

It definitely may prove to be a costly gamble. One of the downsides of the points deduction penalties is that each punished will be affected differently. I can see why we've tried to kick the can town the road.

Of course, while we had successfully done that we should have been getting the finances in order at the same time.

Confirmation here on The Athletic article that the club were fighting both jurisdiction cases (that the PL had no right to rule on 22/23 AND 23/24). That's why there was the delay. If we hadn't fought the second case, we would have had the points deduction this season.

"But because Leicester refused to submit their 2023-24 accounts to the Premier League by December 31 2024, and then proceeded to fight these two jurisdiction battles, there is no chance of the Premier League being able to prosecute the club this season."

Great work everyone.

Pretty sure some of them would have moved faster than the double pivot of Ndidi and Soumare

The ‘aggravation’ of demanding the Premier League and EFL stick to their own rules instead of just lying down and accepting a punishment they had no right to give to us.

Unfit to govern.
