I get the logic behind it. I’d absolutely take Fuchs now.

United are in a similar but more diluted state than us, just going round in circles

Unbelievable how a club like Man Utd are just resorting to a former player.

They want someone who will play the “Man  U” way .

Carrick has just failed to reach the play-offs twice with a big Championship club who are now doing much better since he left so obviously Man United manager material.

Whoever it was that said Rosenior is a weirdo..... Yep.

May as well just have used a picture of David Brent in this tweet.

He's a LinkedIn meme.

Bet he loves The High Performance podcast.

Liam Rosenior will be a successful manager.

People just want passion merchants all the time that don’t have a clue about tactics.

He was dreadful at hull given the players he had.

Dreadful is probably a bit much isn't it

He’s the one manager across that season that did genuinely out tactic Maresca. A lot of our other losses can be put down to crapping the bed but Hull had us on the ropes both times.

Didn't we win away and the home game was a case of not taking chances?

Finishing 7th with Greaves, Philogene and Delap is pretty underwhelming. He got sacked pretty quickly as a result.

Liam Delap who had scored 4 senior league goals prior to going to Hull? Philogene who hadn't done much prior to Hull either. He got sacked over style of play I believe, not due to position. They then finished 21st.

100m worth of talent but ok.

Chelsea were missing their 3 best players and playing against Arsenal’s full strength 11 (minus Calafiori) and barring two individual errors, were on the brink of beating the best side in the country currently.

Rosenior hasn’t changed much from Maresca early on, but there were subtle tweaks that helped get them close to a positive result. He’ll be competent.

Guehi being sold and Glasner confirming he is leaving at the end of the season

Bad day for Palace fans

The Man Utd job makes complete sense after Carrick's interim spell.

This is the concern for clubs of a similar size. At least Palace grabbed a major trophy before their best period dissolves. Good job we crowned our best era with honours before it disappeared. As we dwell on our current problems at least we don't look back on what might have been as we do with the 1960s
