That’s weird we are finding the opposite when hiring

I’m talking generally across the board. If the economy keeps going south alongside payroll numbers then I’d be surprised to see large pay growth.

A couple of months ago TopCashBack were doing PIA VPN for 100% cashback. I decided to sign up for betting purposes more than anything else, as the new season is coming up. £44 for 2 years and I've already had the money back into my account.

That offer is gone now but they are doing it for 73.5% back right now, if anyone still needs a VPN.

I’m waiting for my 15 year old son to emerge from his room and ask me to get him a vpn. Gone are the day of the Freeman’s catalogue underwear section or finding ripped up copies of Razzle in hedge rows at the side of the road 🤣

Back in the day, my Mums latest Grattans catalogue had arrived and I headed straight to the lingerie section.

Imagine my delight when one model was wearing a see through bra.

Quite tame compared to what is available today.....................so I'm led to believe .

I missed the bbc news ‘snapshot/report’ of the sderot viewing point.  This article perhaps gives a more nuanced view.  there will be right wing arseholes in every population (we have plenty here and they even make the cabinet in some PR govts)  but you can’t label everyone as having the same reasons for wanting to look into the ruins of north Gaza.

I find that absolutely sickening.

Interesting article.

I would hazard a guess that those who go there just to confirm the inhumanity of what's going on are rather outnumbered by those who want to witness the spectacle as the Romans did 2000 years ago, though.

Sadly,  when extremists on both sides see the other as less than human, this tends to be the result.  Mind numbingly incomprehensible as it may be to most others.

It's what happens when a population is so highly propagandised and brainwashed. Even the Third Reich tried to hide what they were doing rather than sell tickets to watch it.

Until the far-right is completely marginalised from Israeli politics, the country will never heal.

Efforts are being made among the Israeli left to make a comeback, with the merger of Meretz and the Israeli Labour Party into the Democrats, but even that merger only accounts for 4 seats in the Knesset. For all the liberalism in Tel Aviv and Haifa, much of the Israeli population outside of those two multicultural cities is eye-wateringly right-wing and avowedly anti-Arab.

Unfortunately the Israeli/Jewish ultra right wing will always exist while there’s so much Islamic extremism, sympathisers and very hard anti-semitism.

Genuinely can’t see an end to the issues between both sides as this literally goes back thousands of years.

Every substantive reply I try to make is being blocked by the mods on grounds that are a total mystery, but I largely agree.

To be fair what can you do, if he’s got a bomb which is unlikely for lots of reasons then there’s little you can do. If he hasn’t then what’s he realistically gonna do.

Having watched the video it’s pretty clear something has gone wrong in this blokes mind rather than anything else, would like to know what had happened before the video.

They were on the cusp of something in the mid-90’s. ISR had a moderately centrist PM (left for ISR standards) who was fully invested in Clinton’s peace accords. Resistance/terror movements in PLS had been sidelined. Then an ultranationalist shot him in the head and within a few months our mate Bibi was in charge and peace has never been possible again. The moral of the story learnt on both sides was that violence is ALWAYS the answer.

Barak had a go in 2000 but by the time the two sides were on the same page, his premiership was clearly close to the end and Arafat judged there was therefore little to be gained from negotiating on Jerusalem’s status against the PLO stated position and risking someone coming looking for him with a loaded gun.

As you say, history shows that those brave enough to try and make peace are likely to become targets of the lunatics on the fringes.

Not sure why your replies are being blocked mate, it’s a shame.

Sensitive topics like this need more discussion, opinions and freedom to say what you think…not brushing under the carpet.

Current evidence certainly backs this up, yes.

An additional complication is at least some of those involved being perfectly willing to die, kill and otherwise treat life as cheap because they buy into the as yet unsubstantiated idea that this life isn't all that a human has.

Wouldn't be the first fallacy (at the present time) that has resulted in a large amount of death and suffering but it is one of the oldest and certainly one of the most meaningful in that rather dark subject.

If the past couple of decades haven't taught the UK that there are no "good guys" in the big international players and to play foreign policy accordingly by adopting an approach that relies mostly on peacekeeping and neutrality, then I don't know what will.

The forced internet age verification will be, if not already, the next scheme to join the list of utter cluster fxuks.

Think it’s a good idea really. Many peoples sex lives will probably be improved. And it will stop 10 year olds seeing some hardcore porn at the click of a button.

American interests in Taiwan are simply not the same as ours. I can’t imagine many Brits would support sending our navy to be blown to bits in the name of protecting taiwan

There's that, too.

Yeah, he definitely, definitely went to the island.

"By the way, I never went to the island."

"I never had the privilege of going to his island, and I did turn it down," he repeats.

"In one of my very good moments I turned it down, I didn't want to go to his island."

My I "I never went to the island" T-shirt has people asking a lot of questions already answered by the t-shirt
