That can’t be real. Looks like a 5 year old copy and pasted it.

I'm not sure we should really expect high standards of such things given who has done it.

They have apparently taken some photos that have trump in it off the site which is not a surprise . Does make it look a little guilty though. I doubt  while he is president anything on him will be released . Thomas massie isn’t happy about what’s been released and wants to impeach bondi

I know you hate them but come on I can’t believe this is real.

Well, the second photo is publicly available and shows rather clearly a meeting between Clinton, Diana Ross and Michael Jackson, along with Diana Ross' and Jacksons own children in 2003 at a fundraising event.

The first photo is rather clearly that same photo with redacted faces to give the impression of impropriety, and that photo has clearly been included in the direct release of information by the US Department of Justice over the last day or two.

I'm not sure what else there is to say as it's patently obvious what has been done, unless someone has another theory here.

Given what Trump is suing BBC for ('fake news') this is highly ironic at the very least.

And he would've gotten away with it if I hadn't been for those pesky kids!

I can see that you 'might' unknowingly sign up for a subscription and month one, you can be complaining. But, I'm sorry if you've not checked your card/bank statements properly and not noticed £55 going out, every month for 2 to 8 years, it's on you.

Personally I think the whole subscription model of business is a massive con.

I hate how the model works. For example, signed up for 30 days VPN last night and it automatically put me into a subscription.  I pay attention so knew to go shut it off immediately.

Sometimes, I have said "put a reminder in phone to cancel in 30 days" but forgot to do that. Then the bill comes and I yell at myself and proceed to cancel. Lol

IMO subscription tick boxes should never be an option on a payment screen.  They can put a message up after you pay about how you can subscribe but only with instructions not links.

Might be a ball ache for the some but whatever.

Clearly it would appear that one Danish official telling Trump to fvck off on the matter of Greenland isn't enough.

Hopefully the next response will involve action like additional travel restrictions for US tourists and instant persona non grata status for the new "special envoy", rather than having him visit Greenland at all.

I dream of being rich enough that £50 could come out of my bank and I wouldn't notice tbh. Can't imagine losing track of thousands over a number of years lol

Best is just to cancel it immediately, pretty much every subscription will still run until the cancellation date then - saves having to set a reminder etc.

I think that the free month, you shouldn't need to give any card or bank details and then, if you like it and want to keep it at the end of the month, THEN you give them payment details.

So much more honest.

Absolutely, it's a con but FFS you've got to have responsibility, I'd notice a £5.50 subscription let alone £55. And for years, come on, you can't blame that on the retailer.

I've had subscription things, which i don't agree with but have gone with it, missed a reminder or not set one, might be a month but not years.

Also, make cancelling as easy as subscribing. We signed up for a month's trial on one of the streaming platforms 3 or 4 years ago (can't remember which one now) and nowhere could I find how to cancel. Ended up finding a phone No for them - which wasn't easy - and cancelled that way.

As a consequence , I never bother with free trials now.

Same with Beer52, I had a free box on a whim as a trial month and a phone call was the only way to cancel. The bloke wanted to know why I was cancelling and kept trying to sell me more even though I made it clear I wasn't interested. It nearly broke into a full blown argument and I almost ended up swearing at him. Nearly 10 mins on the phone and he finally cancelled it. Will never ever use them again on principal now.

Not one of us loves these things, but businesses would simply not have introductory offers if they could not take payment details in advance. We all have a choice, take the free offer and suffer the consequences, or never accept such an offer.

Community notes have had a field day with a lot of people this week you would think it would stop them lying or claiming to have done stuff they haven’t 😂

Yep, more money than sense springs to mind.
