Dubai airport in smithereens

"War, what is it good for?" asked Edwin Starr but to be fair he had never met Brits living in Dubai.

Farage wanting the UK to follow the US in attacking Iran and "praying" for the "wonderful Persian people".

Wonderful enough that you'd like some more of them in the UK voting in elections, Nigel? Given the events of this week, assuming probably not?

Scary that our version of trump will be our ruler in 3 years

I really hope she and her colleagues are ok and a genuine thanks for the painful reminder that making light of appalling situations online is always a bad idea.

Ali Hosseini Khamenei assumed dead then.

That’s the end of the not so supreme leader in Iran.

Pics or didn't happen.

Thank you for that, and no worries- sometimes very dark humour is a good coping mechanism. I'm sure everything is fine, there's nothing I can do other than wait to hear what's going on anyway.

Smithereens was the word on here earlier, are you saying foxes talk gossip may be unreliable?

Whilst FoxesTalk gossip is usually rock solid, '"Dubai Airport blown to smithereens" may have been a tad much. Still, you never know what might happen over the next few days

Killing the ayotollah is ww3 territory to be fair, I would get to your local Aldi tomorrow and stock up.

This wouldn't be the first Iranian leader the Americans have taken it upon themselves to off, unfortunately.

Confirmed by Iran media now

Khamenei was killed in the early hours of Saturday

Iran’s Fars news agency has more details on the supreme leader’s killing.

It says Khamenei was killed at his office while “performing his assigned duties” in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Brave...

Given they've been on the end of Iranian drones and missiles sold to Russia for years now, I can't blame them celebrating his death.

Killing or kidnapping bad people then having absolutely no plan as to what happens next is classic Trump. Again I predict that nothing will actually change.

For someone who says he has never met him or been involved with him he seems to go to some crazy lengths to not have to speak about it or release as little as possible after campaigning on it.
