Just look at the scruffy twat. Why does he always look like he's let one of his kids cut his hair?

Looks like all 15 had a go at once

It's all an act, well known he changes his speech patterns and ruffles it up before going on camera

When they discovered North Sea Gas/Oil it was promised that we'd be getting all energy needs for free. The problem is that most people in government are just that people but with strong political beliefs without any serious knowledge of how to run anything so therefore promise political aims rather than practical and achievable aims.

Shame we didn't copy what the Norwegians have done rather than trying to aspire too and  mimic everything American (USA)

I think there is a reasonable middle ground - e.g. in Western Australia we were sheltered from energy price hikes the rest of Australia had because the government required state gas supply to take precedence over export sales on the open market, with some sort of price restriction, so we pay a lot less that spot or futures prices.  In the eastern states they did not.  So it can be private and still protect the country's energy needs.

That's interesting. The UK seem to have chosen the worst way to do privatisation across the board. We've literally sold the family silver for zero medium or long term benefit.

Isn’t this basically where we pay out local sparky or Chinese in cash rather than card?

I'm sure they include it on their tax returns..

Apparently one of the illegals sent back to France on the ‘one in/one out’ scheme has already returned to the uk in a small boat !

couple of questions

where did he get the money to pay his cross channel fare again ?

If we send him back is it then one out/two in ?

Typical right wing MSM click-bait.

I was wondering how they'd know, particularly given they claim all the people on boats throw away their documents (which would be short-sighted as it falls upon an asylum seeker to prove their identity and that they personally are at risk in their own country).

Im being silly, he has ran straight to the Guardian. Its odd that he has ran straight to the newspaper with his story.

It does pave the way for all asylum seekers to claim France isn't safe if he is allowed to stay so maybe thats his angle.
