What is interesting is given BC Game look to no longer be our kit sponsor and now given the King Power news, and they are the usual fall back position, does this mean we have been actively looking for an alternative external sponsorship partner.

You've made the mistake of using the phrase "Actively looking" there

Lets face it, its bragging rights, the facility hasnt really offered us anything practical as a football club

other than the development of Monga, Evans, Nelson, Alves etc etc…….Anyone keen to see quality developing youth should be lauding Seagrave and the quality of young players being developed at all age groups.

Wonder if this brings Walkers back into the fold? IIRC they were close to becoming our shirt sponsor last season.

If it has a massively negative effect on the performance and attitude of the 1st team it's completely irrelevant

TBF I preferred it back in the 80s and 90s when all clubs were encouraging rampant alcoholism, but no - the FA had to go and spoil everyone's boozy fun.

Why is Seagrave being blamed? Out downturn coinciding with the tragic loss of Vichai has everything to do with the management of the club Top down, nothing to do with state of the art training facilities.

It's been mentioned many times that it is like a hotel / leisure club, Too comfortable for the players.

Personally believe these things are down to management and not the facility itself, but seeing as we have absolutely shit leadership all over the club, this isn't changing any time soon.

Like most things with KP in recent times the whole thing is a bit of a vanity project and isn't actually being used properly

I mean on the one hand having Walkers back on the shirt would be a bit of a comfort blanket, a reminder of a time when we had a club we could get behind, and when matchday was all that mattered. Even today a lot of neutrals see it as 'our' sponsor given the local roots and it being a prominent part of what at the time was our most successful period.

On the other hand, it would lead to a huge uptick in shirt sales to KPFC drones, nostalgic folks willing to hold their nose, and probably even neutral football hipsters / shirt collectors. I don't want the morons in charge to make bank out of a fanbase they've been nothing but abusive to for the best part of a decade now.

Disclaimer - for the record, I have no real affinity to Walkers, I know it's not even our company anymore, just a brand for the Pepsi blob. I don't even eat crisps because I think cold potato is rank. I just like the nostalgia angle. lol

Anyone that doesn’t eat crisps can’t be trusted IMO.

I think if people step back and reassess the King Power era, they have provided with the best years of the clubs history and achieved what no owner of the club has ever achieved at the club before and for that we should be externally grateful for.

Fast forward to today and to be honest it's no different to what we'd expect at Leicester pre King Power days and I don't think a new owner would repeat the success of King Power.

In a way King Power got lucky achieving the success they did and unlucky in the decline of it too.

I'll just accept we are back to Leicester style of old days up and down leagues, some seasons we will go straight down and hopefully others we might survive a few seasons in the premier, but have the memories of winning the Premier League, FA cup and champions league football something not many other club fans get to experience in English professional football.

What was unlucky about the decline?

KP Pt1.

Built solid foundations, made mistakes but as a club we generally trended upwards. Tough decisions were made when needed.

KP pt2

Used solid foundations which reflected in success on pitch, within a year they started making decisions that would cost us down the line. People were oblivious to it due to the success on pitch. Took a club that was in a healthy fininancial position that had a comfortable top 8 squad.

Made so many terrible decisions that within 6/7 years we have been relegated twice and consistently been in trouble with leagues for not adhering to financial rules.

And that's the fault of Seagrave is it?

No that's Top Rudkin and the manager at the time.

Your at work and you will work. You're not 5year old. Grow up and get the fvck on with what you're paid for.

Our squads attitude has nothing to do with Seagrave. It's what they've been allowed to get away with.

Spoilt fvcking brats and not one of them has a fight in them.

Doesn’t help when the players go snivelling to the owner every time they don’t like the manager and he fecking enables it.
