Grow up man, we are owned by KingPower, them going bust impacts us.

It does but not by as much as people expect - the biggest impact is that the clubs ability to lose £35m in the prem or £13m in the chap - may also affect cash flow too but we use MacQuarie for the bulk of the loans.

TBH - you're talking about a 900m dollar company and a football club which makes anywhere between £100m and £170m, it's peanut in comparison.

It’s even more apparent now our club needs new investors to secure it financially going forwards. Top needs help or needs to sell

Walked along the canal earlier past the stadium, they can still afford window cleaners :D

Should get the no mark players to do it. They're overpaid for their actual jobs

It's a noose around our neck. Appalling injury problems since we've been there, a breeding ground for building the exact opposite mentality for what it was meant to serve.

The cost of running it is prohibitive. Sell it and hopefully enables Top to lower the price it would take to sell up completely.

A building doesn’t dictate a mentality or atmosphere, leadership structure and standards does. That comes from the top (pardon the pun).

It's all about opinions, but this one is ridiculous imo.

If they do sell, the training ground will sell the club

For purely selfish reasons selling the training ground, based in the County of Leicestershire, to a local rival in another county is unconscionable.

Amazes me that in ten years they've barely improved the stadium - considering this lot are meant to be retail experts its bizarre or just demonstrates they're not the experts everyone thinks they are.

It's easy to make money when you have a monopoly.

We're owned by Top and his family, not King Power

King Power won't drag us down with them as they don't own us.

Top's personal wealth that's attached to King Power might.

Whilst companies house stated Top is the person with significantly control, the accounts that were signed off in December 2024 basically state otherwise.

We rely on investment from KPI (King Power International), player trading and bank loans.

King Power own the stadium, Leicester currently don’t. It’s on hire purchase from King Power to Leicester.

They’ve got a stock allotment ready to go for just over £100m in theory, which generates additional revenue. That could wipe off the bank loans to make us more saleable, or potentially be used to get additional investment.

It is all very murky, as business is. However the long and short of it is, if King Power goes down, it’s going to have a directly impact on us.

Worst case scenario, they asset strip us and basically sell everything off to fund King Power, as that’s the main business. We are basically a vanity project, that reading between the lines, isn’t appreciated that much throughout King Power.

Awful, awful opinion. Literally under no circumstances can the facility be sold.

We could play at the Training Ground when we are relegated to the national league.

I see both sides of this argument, it’s got massive running costs and is costing us a fortune.

Jokes aside though, we need to unlock its potential.

It’s like owning a Ferrari, turning up to race and asking Driving Ms Daisy to be your Race Car Driver.

We need to employ the world’s best coaches.

great use of the english language, not heard of that one before, but i would be in absolute melt down if we let that training ground go to rivals

you're right, which is why we need further investment or the KP group need to move on

They have in their eyes as it's morph into KPFC's stadium from LCFC's stadium.

You only have to look at the banner which apart from a few hard to determine badges now says King Power est. 1884 with Leicester City FC hidden behind the two big screens, all intentional I have no doubt

There’s absolutely no reason why a state of the art training ground should create injury and mentality issues. I’d argue that our major injuries have not occurred at Seagrave and are no worse in comparison than with other clubs, it just feels like it is because it’s our club. As for mentality, that’s everything to do with the transfer policy and the manager in charge. A good transfer policy analyses what a player is like off the pitch, a good people manager minimises issues and moves on those with the wrong mentality. Thats nothing to do with Seagrave. Seagrave is a fantastic facility that is bearing fruit with players like Monga, Evans and Alves.

The players have looked unfit for years. We used to be the fittest in the league to the point of doping accusations from other clubs.

We looked tired all the time which is down to the mentality and lack of professionalism within the club. If we aren't fit then the players will pick up more injuries at non training times.

Even if it was the reason Monga decided to stay, and may convince many more kids to sign on the dotted line?

OK, it's great
