Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 10 July 2025 Posted 10 July 2025 I just looked up the meaning of ‘Cifuentes’: The Spanish surname Cifuentes means "hundred springs" or "many springs". It is a habitational name derived from the town of Cifuentes in Guadalajara, Spain. Martin Many Springs isn’t really a catchy nickname is it?

Generally think this place is well ahead of others though. Find it quite peculiar how FT and Twitter are fiercely critical and Facebook are still arsekissing. I am convinced Facebook in particular is diluted by people who don't go to games, often ex-pats or LCFC fans living a decent distance away

That also doesn’t really explain a second season, that was worse than the first and as I said people describing him as a manager on an upward trajectory. Well they finished 15th this season and 18th the season before they was also 17 points of the play offs in the first season while only 12 points off it the season just gone, I would say that's upward trajectory.

Dahnsouff Posted 10 July 2025 Posted 10 July 2025 Need someone in sharpish, we aren’t at the top table for the moment, this guy or similar is potentially better (or at least less jaded seeming) than the standard fare, so we will see soon enough.
Glasgowfox Posted 10 July 2025 Posted 10 July 2025 Maybe I am missing something. If this guy is as good as some of the guys on here think he is then why is he considering Leicester? Love my club but facts are....allegedly taking a pay cut, paying off some of his own compensation and coming to a club that needs to sell as we can't buy, sort of smells of desperation on his part and not imo ambition and desire. May be wrong but looks like no offers from many other clubs for him.

That is a mindf**k paradox. 2 1
