Usually with our kits, they have player photos on a sponsor less kit and then photoshop it on. It’s why Kasey looks like he’s got a cardboard box under his top, he probably has to allow the sponsor to be photoshopped on easily.

I'd just had it my mind it would be the first of these two things, hadn't considered the second. 

 

Really hoping that isn't the case but nothing surprises me with this lot.

Assuming it is kbet.asia, the website still doesn't have user functionality and still has a placeholder picture on the main page lol

 

Surely they don't press ahead with this.

Probably given up on maintaining the website now it’s not going ahead. It’ll be gone within 3 months.

Nothing was photoshopped off, as I said last week you could tell by the way the shirt was hanging. People were seeing the change in reflection of the stripes and thinking it was photoshop.

Completely agree mate. It is a weird feeling to actively support action being taken against your club, but in this case I really think we as fans have a duty to flag these things, as it is just so symbolic to how bold and blatant the club have got with taking the piss. What is more concerning is this behaviour has been somewhat normalised, and I think the club just think they can take both the EFL/PL for mugs, and honestly I think that extends to taking the fan base for mugs as well.

Don’t know how long they was up on the app for previously but I posted them on here at around 1am I think, I got a text from a friend around 4am to say they wasn’t there anymore when they tried to look

Just mainly so people don't forget about how laughable this is.


Do we think we're looking for a different sponsor now? Of all seasons, this doesn't feel like the one where the club could go without having a shirt sponsor.

It’s not really, the club tried to do something dodgy and got called out for it so backtracked. We are now scrambling around to try to figure out how we plug the gap probably about £7m a year.

I was more thinking about the fact that they could have used the situation to acknowledge the kickback.

Not unheard though...Chelsea don't have a main shirt sponsor currently, and I believe the Florists didn't until very recently, before they cobbled together a last minute deal with an obsure Asian betting outfit,  (yeah,, I know!)
