Fair enough on the above, it's a ****ing nightmare this game as logos/names never match.

All the sentiment stands though, just minus the curacao link, of which there probably is one lol

Mods can edit the title if they like.

Oh... still a link back to Curacao even with Kbet.asia...

KBET is a legally operating bookmaker under the supervision of reputable international gambling management organizations, including PAGCOR (Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation) and Curacao Gaming.

Chat gpt told me the following of their profits:

"I couldn’t find any publicly disclosed figures for Kbet’s (also referred to as K88 or KB International Group) full-year annual turnover or profit. They appear to be a private, offshore‑licensed operator, so they aren’t required to publish comprehensive financial statements.

However, one data point is available for a related entity, “KBT” (possibly a related brand or subsidiary), which reported:

Net profit of VND 4.5 billion (~US $190,000) for the January–September period of a recent fiscal year .

Aside from that, there’s no reliable source detailing Kbet’s total annual revenue or net earnings."

For those of us not as clued up…please could you explain how the club would launder by doing this?

Seems very dodgy!

Top or King Power might be into shady deals and have lots of cash or money on bitcoin accounts that they can't spend without triggering the authorities as to how they got the money.

But if they pass this dodgy money to these companies who then pass it back as "sponsorship", then King Power or Top or LCFC (as our club is now party to this) now have a legitimate source of that money and they can now spend it.

The fact that the amount of sponsorship likely exceeds the turnover of these companies is a clear sign its going on - but nobody seems to want to do anything about it.

Not seeing a ‘happy ending’ with this one

the club would argue that this is the only way they can get additional investment into the business and avoid more psr sanctions. If other clubs are doing this’s then it becomes a case of do it or drop further behind.  The glass half full view is at least it shows that king power are putting max capital into the club that they are allowed to. (And effectively more).  The moral aspect is clear though.

are championship clubs doing this in the same way as PL ones do?  I could see the EFL chomping at the bit to take us to the cleaners on something like this.

If this pan's out and actually adorns our shirts I would be interested in the views from the Facebook KPFC happy clappers.

Would they still be comfortable with the situation, and add this to their whitelist of KP can do no wrong?

Its embarrassing if its actually confirmed as a full blow dodgy set up.

Do we really want owners with a total lack of scruples.

Can you all unite to release a joint statement condemning this please?

Along with support from @Foxestalk as well, then we can generate a massive backlash.

Isn’t it just about the owners being able to put more cash into the club than they’re allowed to?  (Via dodgy overstated sponsorship )?

No it’s about helping themselves rather than helping the club

Not sure whether that Palace shirt image on the site is a sign of a link to Net88 or not.

In the UK Net88 and Debet are licenced by risk capital, and KBet isn't one of their assets.
