Yes it's like trying to make a good card hand when you don't have a card higher than 5.

There are some red flags but he's sorting out the capabilities of the players which to be fair to him, he's likely to be pretty shocked with how poor a lot of these players are.

Some big reputations but terrible footballers in our squad there is no doubt.

It doesn’t matter which manager you get in with this group of players, most have been relegated twice and fundamentally they just are not very good….

i am tired of the “enough talent” narrative, where’s the talent? Wingers sure….next?

open your eyes and understand the lack of solid recruitment over the last three/four seasons has got us here.

In other news Danny ward got beat at his near post today.🤣🤣🤣🤣

He is improving as their fans gave him 4 out of 10 for his performance - Coady got 5 out of 10!- Thankfully I think both transfers are outside of their 14 day cooling of periods

At least he changes stuff quite quickly

Yeah he can't be accused of being stubborn which is refreshing. Hopefully the end of the transfer window will calm the squad and focus minds on those that are left.

Could’ve had Rohl and his men for a few million.

Would’ve been playing high intensity pressing football rather than tippy tappy.

Like the Corberan deal, will we rue faffing and saving 2-3million again?

With what? Which of our players are suited to pressing football?

Doesn’t matter? Look at what Rohl did with a pants Wednesday squad?

He needs a central midfield. None of the combinations we have worked (not saying that starting Skipp and Soumare together should be devoid of criticism, though).

I ****ing loathe our defence but we urgently need 2/3 bodies in the middle of the park, it's killing us time after time

He has terrible players at his disposal. Feel sorry for the guy, Leicester would've seemed a great gig from the outside. In reality we need to sell the squad and buy a new one, about 3 players aside.

One quality centre mid and one quality striker probably better.

The midfield needs work yeah but it'd still be pointless without anyone leading the line.

Page is on the bench. He subbed off El Khannouss at half time.

Cifuentes really doesnt help himself. Too scared to give the youngsters the minutes they deserve.

If any young player had the performance Ayew had today i have no doubt he would drop them from the first XI and even off the bench. Alves, Evans Page etc would be frozen out.

Ayew on the other hand will still be involved next week.

Oh yeah the striker would be in addition to those brother, I don't disagree with that.

I just think once BEK inevitably goes, what do we have? Soumare and Skipp are thick. Page looks promising but is a child. Winks is the only one you could bank on and even he barely looks like he wants to be here anymore. All a mess. I think we need more than one in in the middle

Our predicament has zero to do with Marti. If it isn't obvious by this point that this is on the players and ownership then you seriously haven't been watching it for the last 18 months.

Honestly, people in here blaming (writing off) a manager who’s had no investment and has adopted a squad of players who think they’re better than they are after 3 competitive games.

What do you expect? People talk about starting Monga - yeah maybe, but you can’t rely on a 16 year old. Starting Ayew or Daka is like choosing whether to wipe your arse with sandpaper or razor blades. What else can he do?

Oh yeah Ayew apologists can get in the bin
