Yup we are just scared to attack with any confidence and our front line is hardly producing just not good enough from the players, wether its ability or confidence or a mix of many other things its just not working and hasn't for over a year

Benefit of the doubt with most things season bring Skipp on didn't need to happen. James was fine where he was and could've got Ayew on for Reid. 

 

Attacking options from the bench are awful and I'm convinced that's why Marti goes more defensive.

This team is miles better than most at this level. Not one single Wrexham player would even make our squad, they are an utterly dreadful side. We've only played one decent team so far and that's Coventry. You need 2 points a game average for autos and that's before the points deduction and we are currently way off that. The results are one thing but the performances don't show any signs of the results improving. 2 shots on target against WBA and Wrexham is just completely unacceptable. How ironic that if Ward was fit today, we wouldn't have even tested him.

He's extremely negative, our first thought is too play backwards and safe, that's on him.

Agreed not sure how we can blame the manager though he has tried to get it to click but we are just no where near looking threatening going forward, players seem to just go through the motions but it's no where near enough to be up there, need some special sauce.

 

A lot of other teams are drawing games though so we may get better with more games, just not seeing enough atm though.

It's absolutely embarrassing how bad Skipp is. He doesn't even look like a footballer. That's on the club not Marti and it can't be easy having a player on 50k in the championship who cost £20M but not play him. Marti needs to be strong and not play Faes, Skipp, Soumare, Ayew, Hamza  Kristianson, Thomas because they will get him sacked. We need youth on the bench. Nelson should be starting, Aluko has to be better than the 2 limited LB's we have, Page should be getting minutes.

I'm honestly sick to death of the "Pep style" possession, keep ball nonsense. It's boring as fck and clearly just doesn't work anymore. Rodgers tried it and succeeded at first and then failed miserably. Enzo did it well but even at times in that season we were awful to watch, and now he's struggling at Chelsea. Pep has had amazing success but Man C have massively lost their way and he's showing no signs of turning it round. 

 

I'm not saying revert to neanderthal hoof ball football but I can't stand managers that are so obsessed with having 70% possession but creating nothing and barely scoring. So boring to watch.
