How does this game work? We’ve got a bench of ~15, surely not all of them can get on. Are we changing at half time? Is it roll on roll off? Is it 2 45min halves?

I’m guessing our players will get either 30, 45 or 60 mins each so essentially subs will get subbed

Hopefully nothing to read into and  it’s just a pre season friendly so if anyone has even the slightest niggle they simply won’t play any part. However Coady captain and Nelson not playing is yuk. Truly yuk!!

Skipp was poor last year at premier league level, but if you can’t see his previous performances in this league and remember the league we played in last time around and not think he’s going to be one of the best midfielders in that league this year then you need to park your agendas now. Or there will be a lot of egg on faces come may  that’s your midfield partnership for the year, it’s just what number 10 plays with them.

Our starting line up against Sheffield Wednesday may look very different. He doesn’t want to start off by alienating many of the senior squad. Let’s give the guy a chance.

I think people give the squad too much stick.

 

If you ask a fish to climb a tree, it’ll fail.

 

Our players under RVN and Cooper looked clueless, as they appeared to have no idea what to do on the pitch. 
 

What I’ve seen from this coaching setup already, gives me hope that we have a brighter future ahead.

He was outstanding for Norwich in the Championship if I recall.

A) Get out of this league

B) Start a squad refresh if we get promoted.

 

Coady, Vestergaard, Skipp, Winks, Mavididi, Hermansen, El Khannous, Ricardo etc, should all be too good for this league. Some of those will need upgrading if we then want to stay up.
