Can we really call Harry Winks "England International Harry Winks"?

From having confidence Daka would adapt to accepting he is not of standard and shouldn’t be playing for us in any leagues, I now find myself watching him as an amusement. It’s not really about football but more about how much he can miss the ball. Like Danny Dyer’s character in Mean Machine.

best thing about this game so far is its clear the players are quickly grasping what Marti wants from them

It'll also be making it clear to Marti just how much we need a new CF.

Daka goal incoming?

10 caps and a goal would say yes

Not really, I'd say no appearances in 5 years would exclude him from that title

Not having a pop at Thomas, but if Cifuentes wants one of our fullbacks to play  as high up as Thomas is now, then he's probably going to need to dip in to the market.  LT is more all rounder, this position seems a lot more wingback (in this game 2nd winger!).

Fed up of hearing about Gregg Wallace

You could have something there ... Maybe our whole team is neurodivergent?

Monga has such quick feet in tight spaces. Anyone know for certain if he has pace? Haven’t seen him really stretch his legs yet, preseason.

He’s displayed some nice bursts of pace today. For a 16 year old lad his composure is incredible. He will be so dangerous once he’s comfortable at this level.

2nd half will be interesting when Monga is on this side and we can vaguely see him playing.

I would actually play monga through the middle and get him more involved .. hes clearly the best player on the park even at his tender age .. Will be world class one day
