Sadly I doubt we could afford a £5million player at the moment as it sounds like we’re completely broke.

we arent completely broke, its more like hands are tied because of PSR

£5m across 4 years. £1.25m a year. We've just got £2m for Coady.

He's ours if we seriously want him imo.

I doubt it anything like as straightforward as that as where we are today probably means we may need to move on more than one player - we have moved down a reasonable amount of wages although the squad is still bloated - another week and it maybe clearer as I would expect a couple more to leave imminently

In either instance, we're about to sell Hermansen and BEK. I'd be extremely surprised if we don't buy one or two players for ~5ish each.

Very little chance BEK is still here in September.

His agent appears to be actively trying to get him a move and we seem resigned and willing to sell him if we can recoup our losses with a small profit. He'll go for ~25mish (may even have a release clause.)

Leeds have allegedly already agreed personal terms with him and the sources for that are very strong.

That's the frustrating thing; We are far from broke (a below average risk for a Football Club) but the reason is that Top has continually pumped money in to cover his total and utter mismanagement of the club.

No because selling Coady for 2m resulted in a loss for us PSR-wise. Needed to be 2.5m just to break even.

We need to sell both Mads and Bilal this window

£500k loss on his book value but then we have saved £3.5m - £4m on his wages as well

I’m pretty shite at accounts so could be wrong but if it’s a P&L test presumably you reduce expenses of weekly wage too which won’t be small.

@Ric Flair can vouch for me back in August last year watching him play against Wrexham, I said he’s worth keeping an eye. Very strong but very raw. He completely tailed off at the end of the season with an injury rhough. But there’s a high ceiling there. He does work hard.

Not in the squad for Wycombe’s opener. He’ll be going somewhere…

Hopefully not to us.

I mean with our facilities you’d think we should sway him in comparison to the other teams bidding currently

He’s always needed somewhere to take his dog.

Amortized fees are exactly that simple
