FrankieADZ Posted 3 August 2025 Author Posted 3 August 2025 (edited) potentially Kone and swansea wont be happening context, VitalSwansea is meant to be quite reliable in terms of Swansea transfers* *as always a pinch of salt* Edited 3 August 2025 by FrankieADZ 2

ronnup Posted 3 August 2025 Posted 3 August 2025 His numbers in league 1 arent amazing. I like his story though.
Popular Post iancognito Posted 3 August 2025 Popular Post Posted 3 August 2025 After seeing Daka again today I'd take a traffic kone up there, this guy cannot be any worse 15

adam95581 Posted 3 August 2025 Posted 3 August 2025 He looks ok from the YT highlights but not particularly polished. Imagine he will struggle against better quality defenders but ultimately looks like he probably offers more than Daka (he can stay on his feet) and ultimately with Fatawu, Monga, Mav and potentially BEK, we only need a half decent 9 for this league.

It’s not a bad return….. for context, Kone got most of his goals when Matty Bloomfield was manager, he got 16 goals in 28 games, then when he left for Luton and replaced him with Mick Dodds, who plays a completely different way to MB, his form dipped to 2 in 15 so his stats prior to Dodds coming in where pretty good imo

Think he scored 16 in first 28 or something, then when Dodds came in changed style of play to a less 'football playing' system, only scored 2 goals for rest of season. Sol thewall Bamba Posted 3 August 2025 Posted 3 August 2025 I can feel it in my bones. Wilf out and Kone in by the weekend. 2

Kone picked up several injuries in the 2nd half of the season and his performance dipped.
Popular Post Shev Posted 3 August 2025 Popular Post Posted 3 August 2025 (edited) Wycombe fans here. Kone is heading to the top. He is unpolished, but has developed at a scary rate. We picked him up from the depths of non-league January 2024 and he was our undisputed number 9 by the time the next season rolled around. He was immense under Bloomfield, but we have new corporatespeak plastic owners who wanted their own man, so they forced Bloomfield out (you won't see this officially) and treated him terribly before that despite him getting us into the autos playing the best football a Wycombe team ever has. They brought an out-of-his-kiddy-pool-depth "modern coach" in to finish tanking the season (and this one too, no doubt). Very much hoping it is you rather than Swansea who get Rich. He will continue to develop at a torrid rate. Edited 3 August 2025 by Shev 12 11

Shev Posted 4 August 2025 Posted 4 August 2025 (edited) Koh-nay - or at least that's how our comms and fan base have always said it! Edited 4 August 2025 by Shev 1 1
Vindaloo FOX Posted 4 August 2025 Posted 4 August 2025 Looks very raw to me, does have something very Heskey about him, strong, holds up the ball well, and hopefully get us some goals. Rather the giant lad from Cardiff but for around 5 million Kone probably the better deal.
