I seriously doubt Everton can afford Fatawu having bought KDH and agreed to cover Grealish’s wages plus his loan fee. I think we’ll ask for north of £30m and that will be that.

Having said that, IF we do get an offer and it is acceptable I would demand Jack Harrison part of the deal. He would do the job at this level. I don’t back Macateer to replace Fatawu.

Harrison isn't coming here, he'll be on a wedge at Everton.

Everton interested in Fatawu

Latest from Sky Sports News' Vinny O'Connor:

Everton are interested in Leicester winger Abdul Fatawu

He is one of the options they are looking at in that position.

Everton have failed with multiple bids for Southampton winger Tyler Dibling this summer.

They are reluctant to meet Saints' valuation of the 19-year-old. They are asking for upwards of £45m for him.

Fatawu has four years left on his contract at Leicester.

The Ghana international picked up the knee injury while representing his country in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola in November.

and they think our valuation of Fats is going to be lower, not a chance AF goes

more likely move for someone like Hutchinson or go back for Dibling again

Yeah you’d imagine 4 years left, if there’s no clauses that we could price them out.

He’s far better than we are. But for now, he also seems happy.

I don't seem that adding another winger after adding JG.

I'd see us wanting a similar fee to Tyler Dibling.

So Everton, who've had their issues with PSR, sell their women's team (back to themselves), and suddenly having put the sale in their books they have all this money to spend?

I know they've had a few bigger wage earners leave but they've almost all been on frees as their contracts run out.

Why couldn't we do something similar years ago (like Chelsea did) and avoid our own PSR issues and give us money to spend. If we'd done it back when Rodgers was spitting his dummy out we might have avoided the drop the first time and never have gone down...

I'm sure someone will point out why I'm asking a stupid question but genuinely wondering. We have our own women's team, and while KP might have had its own financial issues, I'm sure we could have done our own creative accounting to have generated some of this income other clubs are finding.

While it may not have solved our problems with regard to high wages and players we're stuck with and  can't shift, staying in the Premier League will have given us more income and given us time to sort our own mess out (maybe).

Could we be in a situation where we lose BEK and fatawu and not sign any decent replacements? Looking at 10th at best if that happens. Surely, surely this won’t actually happen

Even Rudkin isn't stupid enough to sell Fats. He's looked absolutely electric since his injury and is the key to promotion. No chance he's going anywhere.

If they double whammy happens and we hear winks might go too I’m flippin done with this club. Why are we cutting ourselves off at the knees? Does top & Rudkin not want us back in the premier league?

I understand I probably have too much faith in the club but I can't imagine we'd sell BEK and Fatawu and we don't have any choice with BEK.

We're selling everyone without buying a soul. If we sell Fatawu, it's because something much, much bigger is wrong at the club than we realise.
