No drum in SK1?

It arrived 5 mins into the match and even up to then, my god was It needed. Atmosphere was dead for the first five.. But..But.. But.. SK1 can create an atmosphere without it

didn’t last long as it was sparse throughout the first half. No wonder though, first time I’ve ever in all my years of watching football left before half time but I couldn’t take anymore.

Perhaps won’t mean much to many but this pole is on the stairs into SK1. Most weeks fans pop a few stickers on it on their way up. The next week the club rip them down leaving it looking like this.

Never having this tatty pole now looks better or improves the ground than leaving up some LCFC stickers for fans to add to or catch there eye at.

The clapping of the pre match video is a strange one. It’s like the bottom 5 rows of the stand has to militantly clap it’s ending as a defiant show.

Yeah it’s weird. Almost like robots trained to do it.

I can't stand watching that.

It's like a big joke

I am usually pretty critical of moaning fans, and its easy to say when I don't get to many games.

I must admit I hadn't appreciated just how bad the football is, how disorganised we are and how we are absolutely clueless in defence.

After that it's hard to fault the fans really I just wish more of it was aimed at Rudkin.

Loud but when are winning the game comfortably from 10 minutes in you would expect it.

It's always annoyed me and I've mentioned it loads on here before.

All the away games I've been too where the home team plays a montage - Leeds and Forest are good examples - and nobody in those grounds stand and claps it.

Those people you mention would rather watch the club die and clap what we achieved a decade ago. Anything for King Power.

Were there people clapping us off?

I was in no major rush to get home and wanted to give Russell Martin some pelters at the final whistle (but he rushed straight down the tunnel at full time).

There were probably about 1k fans in that were actively staying in their seats. After both sets of players had shook hands etc at the end of the game a small handful of City players turned to applaud the Kop end and I couldn't believe how many were clapping back.

Whole club needs a cull

I think the players know to wait for those who are angry to go so they spent a good 5/6 minutes pissing about hugging the opposition or pretending to be disappointed by sitting on the floor. They know those who are angry generally leave immediately and they get a good old hearty clap from the knobheads that just want to show how big of a supporter they are.

I would encourage those that are pissed off to stick around but it's hard to do that after 4/5 years of this. I did think about leaving after the 3rd had gone in but felt that I had a duty as a fan to give them stick for it. I do think that leaving early leads to an hour of no atmosphere and no calls for accountability. It'd be nice to have a full game of the sort of furore and vitriol you get after we concede but I do get it.
