I still wonder if Barry-Murphy might've been the answer. He at least had the benefit of knowing which players needed binning off and he's actually committed to playing some of their younger players - currently top of League One.

Done well tonight. Bossed the first half. Held their own 2nd half despite being under a bit more pressure.

Tbf if you look at the two teams, Palace should be in double figures by the now. It’s only the famous anfield atmosphere keeping them in it.

Slot has lost the plot. Even if he doesn't care about this cup the team can't afford to continue this losing streak. He's getting the sack soon. 

Another thing: Bayern is fielding tonight a full strength squad in the German Cup. Liverpool needs to find chemistry with all the new players and today's game was perfect for that. Slot messed up big time again.
