One goal since November 2023 by the way.

He needs a run of games at a lower level. If we created chances for him in this league he would bag.

I just don't see the benefit or adding non-goalscoring strikers to this team.

Would much rather sign a player on the up. I don't see why we should spend 6 months playing another team's striker into form. We need someone to come here, be our player and immediately start scoring goals on a consistent basis. It's a big ask but that's life under Aiyawatt. We're desperate now.

We have no money to spend.

Surely a young player who may just need a change of scenery on loan (with option/obligation) is the best we can hope for

It won't be an option we could afford.

Two years ago Brighton wanted nigh-on 100m for this lad.

It's time we got serious about signing a long term striker.

There's always the possibility that we could explore a loan to buy.  Brightons forward options are much more plentiful now than when Ferguson broke through.  And his stock has fallen dramatically.  Of course, that's an indication that signing him isn't a great idea.  It's probably worth exploring as our options at present are thin and by July are non-existent.  Though if you were him, would you want to come?

Solanke on loan from Spurs?

Read this a few times and still can't quite believe it's genuine

Get Dele Alli into the training, ready for a return, when he's ready.
He already knows Winks and Skipp well from their time together at Spurs.

Great option, when well and fit at this level, especially as we're struggling for number 10s

The problem with this godforsaken forum is I can't tell what's satire or not...

Ferguson reminds me of a typical MON signing

Couldn't be further from what we need.

A quality number 10, needing game time with a point to prove, for the second half of the season, on loan, that lives relatively local?

yeah, sounds rubbish

He's not a number 10, he doesn't have anything to prove to us, no resale value, massive wages, never fit, dodgy attitude and he takes the position of probably the only good player we have.

Yes. He is rubbish.

Go and get Fabio Carvalho on loan from Brentford. Would be absolute mustard in the championship.

I was calling for him under Enzo in the Champ...instead we got Casadei YAY
