Less than a year younger than Will Alves. Will Alves has experience on loan at championship level, England youth team call ups etc despite having an ACL injury and Heskey has none of that. Would have been a bizarre decision to loan Heskey instead of playing Alves, typical grass is greener syndrome.

CornwallFox Posted 13 November 2025 Posted 13 November 2025 Tommy Watson on loan from Brighton to offer something either at 10 or on the wing.
les-tah Posted 13 November 2025 Posted 13 November 2025 (edited) If we want to scrape a play off place by the end of the season then its still largely the same situation as we needed in pre season. striker (sack the person that thought carranza was the answer) number 10 (shock and disbelief we put all our hope in Ramsey when he just came back from 18 months out) left back. I know the rest of the team is far from perfect but these are certainly the weakest spots. Edited 13 November 2025 by les-tah

We’d probably have to go for a loan deal of a young forward from a Premier League club (Jaden Heskey for example), but of course there’s no guarantees that it work out as we all hope.
JimJams Posted 16 November 2025 Posted 16 November 2025 Jaden isn't a striker though. Or even a forward.
Ric Flair Posted 16 November 2025 Posted 16 November 2025 Any prolific Championship goalscorers currently out of favour in the Prem or abroad we might stand a chance of getting?
Ryy Posted 16 November 2025 Posted 16 November 2025 Fantastic name aswell https://www.transfermarkt.com/tiaguinho/profil/spieler/1285798 1

Joël Piroe? 19 Goals, 7 assists last season, and was consistent years before that. Just 270 minutes and 0 goal contributions this year. We were apparently interested before Leeds got him. 4
Phenom Posted 18 November 2025 Posted 18 November 2025 (edited) Armando “Hormiga” Gonzalez, striker from Mexico. Edited 18 November 2025 by Phenom

kingpowerout Posted 18 November 2025 Posted 18 November 2025 (edited) If we are in with any kind of chance of promotion come January (post-Dec form + possible points deduction) then we should be doing everything we can to get Piroe on loan with an option. Edited 18 November 2025 by kingpower
Pita Posted 18 November 2025 Posted 18 November 2025 What about another goalkeeper on loan. You can not have too many 🤔🤔🤔🤔
JimJams Posted 20 November 2025 Posted 20 November 2025 (edited) That's a dabble. Also a shout by @Shane in October. Edited 20 November 2025 by JimJams 1

Lambert09 Posted 21 November 2025 Posted 21 November 2025 I’d definitely ask Leeds if piroe on loan was an option. He’s not getting much of a sniff there and they might try to bring in someone else in Jan.
