I'm really keen on Thierry Small. Don't think he'd move in Jan though.

Only just signed for them as well, but I do like the look of him.

Wonder if the interest in Ivanovic will have now died a death given he's not scored in 8 games this season.  Not even guaranteed starter for Millwall at the moment.

Signed a new contract I believe.

Decent left back and someone that knows where the net is and we walk this league.

A good number 10/attacking mid would be far more impactful that a new left back. Also, we'd need to ship out VK for us to considering moving in that area and given the potential of Aluko, not sure we should be making a move for a new LB.

Need our strikers to start scoring at the moment we are too reliant on midfielders / wingers for our goals. Ayew not really the best out and out striker. We bought caranza and still have daka so another striker would be out of the question but definitely an area of our game the current strikers need to start to improve on. Against a deep defence we are limited to shots outside the box with there being no space to run into for our wingers and it’s not going to produce goals for us every game.

Aaron Ramsey may still be a great bit of business in that number 10 role if he stays fit. James looks much better in the centre mid role where he can impact on the game at both ends of the pitch.

Yea you have a point on the left back. I think a number 10 is more of a next summer thing depending on where we find ourselves.. I reckon Ramsey and Bobby should suffice in this division.

A decent finisher is essential but I cant see it happening without someone leaving first.

Do we have any concept of our financial position this January?

Would love us to go out and spend around £5m on an attacking midfielder, but wouldn’t be shocked if we don’t do anything.

With Souttar coming back from injury it'll leave us with 5 good CBs in this division so one of them will have to move on. Faes/Okoli ideally as they'll command a fee but lets see. Then if we could move VK on and bring in a more attacking LB with pace that'd help. Then see nearer the time how our current striker options are looking.

If VK goes I'd probably just promote Aluko to be honest.  Can't really see us spending anything in January.  A loan definitely, but it's an odd position because if you're looking at promotion then you need to be signing players that will be able to cut it next year, not just this.

Another JJ type of deal would be incredible.

The idea of a Nelson Souttar partnership sounds quite exciting to me. Not sure how it'd work in reality.

Tbf I'd kick the tyres on Michael Antonio and see if he's fit? Short term deal, pay as you play deal etc.

Probably not the best phrase to use there

Looking at list, maybe we should take a stab at that El Khannouss kid. he could do a job here...

Those figures make him look better because he's being compared to wingers.

Bilal is an attacking midfielder who likes to drop deep to get on the ball. He'll naturally get better "passes into the final 3rd" figures than wingers because wingers are likely to already be in the final 3rd when they get on the ball.

The same for Guler, Paz and Gloukh.

But he's been playing on the wing for Stuttgart?

He's played centrally. Leweling, Fuhrich, Tomas and Bouanani have played on the wings for Stuttgart this season.

Granted these are snippets from 2 matches but I've watched a decent chunk of a couple of their games this season and he's been attacking and defending on the left wing in both of those, so has definitely played some mins at least on the left wing. It's why things like transfermarkt always have some limitations as you do see some strange omissions and inclusions when it comes to player positions.

Obviously you might have watched all their games so would bow to your knowledge

Quite a few of them aren't wingers
