Obviously, England haven’t been good tonight, Serbia have just been shit. Can’t win with some people.

Is this a general cultural thing with them, or is it just in football?..

Serbia is a lovely place for a trip. The people are friendly and hospitable.

Football supporters.. not so much. A bit like Galatasary. Greece and the people are lovely. The Gala supporters however are very hostile towards any opposition, although they are probably the same friendly people you might encounter as a tourist

They might’ve had a chance if they hadn’t put 11 behind the ball but we can only play what’s in front of us.

I mean they have actually been shit lol but England have played really well. This has been the most comfortable and convincing performance of the campaign in what was the most difficult fixture.

They certainly wouldn't be friendly if you call them Greek lol

Calling a Turk Greek would be like going down the Falls Road and saying “I love Britain”.

I've thought this, but then come back to wondering how these small nations' game becomes viable if they're only playing each other.

For mostly amateur associations, the TV money they get every couple of years when the BBC or ITV wants the rights to Andorra/San Marino etc v England most likely keeps their FA going until the next time. How much TV money, gate receipts etc is Liechtenstein v Gibraltar realistically going to generate?

Good points. 👍

Agree about the Serbs though, the general population is friendlier and more open than much of the Balkans in my experience despite their reputation being totally the opposite.

I often wonder how the American tourist is who I met in a bar in Belfast and recommended to do this.

We've been class in fairness and completely outplayed them from the outset. A huge improvement from squeaking past them in the Euros last year.

Straight red for Milenkovic.

A nice preview of how he'll get on in a high line. 😂
