Just not true. 

 

Wasn't even the worst on the pitch on the day.

 

Also, to say this after our last 3 seasons is quite some statement.

Was certainly his worst performance to date I'll give you that but if you think he was worse than Burns and Bobby in any game you'd like to mention then you really are a complete stain

Young players will be inconsistent. Their number 4 did a job on him. Page was running the midfield for the first 10mins and then their number 4 got very tight to him and bullied him a bit.

 

The manager could have helped Page out by dropping Sammy a bit deeper in the second half to help us get a bit more control in midfield.

He had his pocket picked a few times trying to receive the ball and play out from the back.

 

We need more players dropping in to show for the Ball including the Wingers. If only to confuse the Wingers.

We need Lundstram to slot in at that 6 role to allow Page and Braybrooke to run the show ahead of him as a pair of box to box 8s…. I’d bin off the 10s especially whilst the options are BDCR and Cullen

if there is any way to lose respect on this board, it’s to make a wildly exaggerated and completely inaccurate statement like that. You must have literally had your head in the sand for the last 3 years.

You're right about him fading, but I'd consider that first half more than 'a few moments'.

What a talent 

You have to wonder what would have happened if we'd developed him more last season instead of giving him a few matches till he signed on, then prioritising Skipp, Soumare, Winks, or bringing in loanees like Ramsey and Aribo. Perhaps we wouldn't be where we are now, and facing the prospect of selling him to keep the club afloat.

He’s got so much potential. I actually struggle to think of an English player like him in his position. As a country we have some good players in the midfield, but his ceiling is so high. And he’s left footed and provides a rare balance to the central midfield. 
 

He’s as cultured as Adam Wharton, but more forward thinking. Really excited by him, and just a shame as we’ve tanked we likely won’t witness his rise to the top.

A joy to watch.

 

A least one part of the club functions in developing academy talents. 

 

Its criminal we're not going to reap the rewards of these players in the first team for any period of time or sell them for their true value.

Probably not January but I wouldn’t surprised if Utd and others come knocking. He’ll be gone in the summer no doubt.
