I’ve never been one to be football is crap these days. But I’m really struggling with this team and club at the moment. It felt like in August, there was the chance to grow some affinity behind a team of hard workers, prospects and a couple of senior pros. We’ve now defaulted back to what we were and I detest. Years ago I’d have been raging with that equaliser but just couldn’t be arsed getting emotional with. Of course, Vestergaard did his normal straight down the tunnel act

Yeh I feel the same, it's all a bit meh isn't it. I think we've all just come to accept that we aren't very good on or off the pitch and it's gone on for so long, many just don't care anymore. If we'd have scored a last minute winner last night, I probably wouldn't have even celebrated it, we should never be in that position against dross like Wrexham.

Anyone else think we looked absolutely knackered after about 60 mins last night? Our conditioning for years has been horrendous. For years now other teams seem to be able to work harder and win every second ball. Really miss the days under Pearson where we had a very well structured periodised fitness approach and would get stronger as the season went on and literally out-run teams late in games particularly in the final third of the season. Really frustrating to see when we have one of the best training facilities in world football, and yet teams like Wrexham who were in the national league not so long ago appear to be a fitter side.

A sensible observation that many of us have been asking. Since the back end of the Rodgers era we look unfit. It comes through all too often. Too many sports psychologists not enough hard nosed fitness coaches.

Vestergaard - worst defender in history of defending. Wrexham's goal was on him; gave a perfect assist for their second goal; luckily ball went over the bar.

Didn't realise we lost 2-1

This is the crux of it. Defensively we're not brilliant, but good enough for the Championship. Our glaring weakness is that we don't have a striker of the quality needed to get promoted, and our attacking play is generally too predictable for our wingers to do any real damage. We can't sign another striker until January and may not even be able to afford one then, so the only thing we can do in the meantime is try to have a bit more variety going forwards so that our other attacking players can pose more of a threat. That's a challenge for Cifuentes and his coaches.

Unless a freebie.. Patrick Bamford available but he's had a dodgy year or two but at least just alternative option to consider. We clearly not going to get anything from either Ayew or Daka in front of goal.

Thing is the fitness / conditioning staff are the same from Pearson's period at the club and pre date Rodgers. It's one part of the club which has been a consistent behind the scenes when many others have changed.

Strikers can be blamed for sure but the way we set up attacking wise is very strange.

Our wingers are totally isolated all of the time so it requires a bit of magic. We're fortunate Monga/Fatawu can a lot of the time but there's no support from the full backs and the attacks aren't sustained at all.

Whoever made the sale of Skipp at £20+ million is an absolute genius. I understand the player doesn't set the fee, but flippin' heck this is the sort of purchase that jeopardises the financial well-being of the entire club. He's realistically going to leave the club as a free-agent in a few years time.

Just imagine a 34 year old Matty James had a better game than a 25 year old Oliver Skipp. Which one cost £25million?

Skipp came on and it felt like we'd subbed a player off and didn't replace them. Horrid horrid player!

This is a team full of overpaid arrogent egomaniacs that need to realise they're just bang average! Can't even beat a team full of has beens! Never disliked a Leicester team so much in nearly 30 years of following. Most of them aren't fit to wear the shirt!

Positive?..... you're easily pleased.

JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH against dross which is why we'll be in a relegation battle at the end of the season.

Solid for 60mins but it’s not enough, we ask for trouble. Thought the team selection was decent to be fair about time we changed it up. When you don’t play get its make sure you don’t lose. Another point, on to Swansea.

I can only assume that Monga isn’t allowed to complete 90 minutes on an evening because he has school in the morning.

Not true.

I’ve seen enough to come to the conclusion that Marti has zero tactical ideas when it comes to attack.

He has created greedy wingers now and it’s harming Fatawu’s game. They are expected to do something with their bag of tricks while everyone stands back and watch them do steps overs, cut back and forth doing so much but producing very little.

They both need to learn how to whip a cross in quickly after gaining that space, Albrighton style.  Monga looks like he’s been picking up tips from Mavadidi rather than the freedom and confidence he has from his youth and natural talent.

Fatawu gets the ball and no one runs into the space that Ndidi or Ricardo would run into, the basic 1-2. Twice he did it and Hanza stood back just to pass backwards instead of whip a cross or slot Fatawu in.

Expecting a 16yo lad to carry the threat with pretty much zilch support from the left back is bizarre.

To then take off the one semi dynamic player we had for a guy who can’t really run but can just foul and get the odd yellow card baffles me. Marti assisted the dropping of 2 points and was lucky it wasn’t three.

This team is going backwards and as for the powder puff challenge for their goal, that sums us up in 10 seconds.

I know we aren't blessed with strikers but if I had to watch him upfront like that every game I'd probably give up.

He's got 4 in 8 this season, I'd bite your hand off for a striker who gets a goal every other game.

Both our Dane’s are so weak and an embarrassment to their ancestors. JV should’ve barged him into next week but he bounced off him like the ball off of Dakas shin.

Thomas is such a boring player.  He kept getting skinned by the 1-2 but would never try it on them.  The time he did bomb forward, he passed to Monga and then stopped instead of continuing in the space. Brain dead players, Monga and Fatawu deserve better. When Monga tried to get Thomas involved and help he just squared it and killed the attack.

No we won't.

I felt the first half was good. Other than a few stupid brain farts we were in control and i was disappointed we were only 1 up.

However, they completely did us on the 2nd half. They sat deep and compact and offered nothing at all, and whilst we were passing around alot,  to have no shots on target is pi55 poor, and you could see our players were getting slowly gassed. Their game plan was to try and exploit a mistake or counter us effectively. Vestergaard obliged, although VK had a good go as well.

Its how i would play us. Faes is good for at least 1 brain fart and Vestergaard cant run and will get caught out. Sit deep - you will get chances.

I noticed Vestergaard got really pi55ed off with the light booing that happened at the final whistle. I imagine it's not long before he falls out with this manager as well.
