I can’t believe I’m saying this.

Bobby needs to start. Very good player at this level.

Would a Bobby - Ramsay  9/10 combo work?

The first 60/70 minutes against Wrexham was fine. The odd misplaced pass and mistake but generally, a team who sat back and were well organised in what they were doing, we broke down a few times. Twice Daka was a touch away from a goal. James scored by us opening them up and Daka had two more headers.

Did we get the best out of the wingers ? Probably not but the movement of Winks, James and Reid was a marked improvement compared to our previous midfield set ups.

I also thought, if you ignore his shooting boots, Daka opened up a decent amount of space for us.

We drew that games because we changed it. The starting personal were fine. I’d go as close to same again as we can. Maybe Riccy for Hamza.

Ayew can be an effective number 10 or afalse 9 if required. He holds the ball up well and brings others into play. Neither Daka or Ayew are the answer as a number  9. We have to hope Carrenza is better than what he has shown in his brief time here otherwise we are going to struggle until the January transfer window, assuming Evans is not seen as ready.

I see no evidence that Ayew won’t play any different where ever he plays.  If he had to get the kit he would turn his back to the locker and fall over.

The fact people are calling for Daka to start shows just how far we have fallen.

It's no surprise there is little excitement when we play anymore, from the fans or the players.

We all watch and hope we play well and win. But I don't think many teams play exciting football anymore, possession football is what managers want to play, it's killing the sport in terms of entertainment (in my opinion).

I've said for years that I'd take a loss every week if the game had us having a go and trying.

I'm going to say we'll be found out today, 3-0 defeat. I'd worry about starting daka and bobby as they are so lightweight, the wind is likely to blow them over nevermind a team of experienced championship players like Swansea possess.

Feel with the conditions and lack of physical attributes, today we're going to get what we've probably deserved at some point over our last 4 games. A demoralising and humbling defeat.

Enjoy your day. :-)

PS on the plus side I'm normally wrong, so keep your heads-up.

This.

Drop one of vesty or Faes as they stand on the ball for too long, Wrexham were able to get back into shape. Nelson at least moves the back quickly and would do better with quality around him.

Gut instinct is 0-0 or 1-1. Tight, dull, meh..., flat as a pancake and making hard work of it all.

Or....we finally loosen up, flow and hurt the opposition, 3-0, happy days :dunno:

I think what happened vs Wrexham goes back to the way the WBA game ended. Marti spoke out about how we'd left ourselves vulnerable by going a bit gung-ho seeking the winner, so our players took his message on board but a bit too literally and retreated in the 2nd half vs Wrexham to hold their lead, not helped at all by the negative introduction of Skipp.

Personally I want my City side to go for it if they feel they can get a better outcome but I suppose in the overall plan an away point keeps you on course.

Can see the wind blowing one in today, blowing a gale down here.

Can we get it on a five year deal, sounds more of a threat that Daka, Ayew and Carranza combined!

Patson 325/1 for the hat trick………get on it

When you say it, I presume you mean crack as that’s the only thing you are on if you think it happens.

I've heard this a lot, but genuinely, what attributes does Ayew have that would make him a decent 10?  Falling over or dribbling toward your own half doesn't really cut it for me.
