K789 Posted 21 October 2025 Posted 21 October 2025 Why does he go on about youth so much then doesn't pick any. Going off him rapidly. Bit of a fraud
AKCJ Posted 21 October 2025 Posted 21 October 2025 Does anything sum up our downfall better than feeling relieved that Ollie McBurnie isn't starting against us? 2
trooky Posted 21 October 2025 Posted 21 October 2025 (edited) AI is churning out the usual FT response to a Leicester selection 😂 Oh my god, shocking, shit Soumare plays Leicester loose, Faes has shagged Top, Ayew oh ****, 0-10 after 45 minutes. Where's the injured Stephy? Why aren't we playing the U9 striker who scored 70 goals last week? Edited 21 October 2025 by trooky 1

TamuffFox Posted 21 October 2025 Posted 21 October 2025 No disrespect to Silko but Nelson, Aluko and Evans ceiling's are so much higher...
MC Prussian Posted 21 October 2025 Posted 21 October 2025 Faes, Soumaré and Daka in the same starting XI, alongside Ayew. Crikey. Well, here's to three points.

They should be drug testing the manager rather than the players 1

Gazza M Posted 21 October 2025 Posted 21 October 2025 Not surprised by line up. Ayew played quite decent there the other night. Soumare adding physicality in midfield. Ricardo couldn't play twice in 3 days. 2
Staff Posted 21 October 2025 Posted 21 October 2025 I can understand changes being needed with the short turn around from saturday, but half of this squad aren't good enough and his persistence in picking them instead of giving some of the youngsters an opportunity is pissing me right off 3
trabuch Posted 21 October 2025 Posted 21 October 2025 One of the benefits of a slightly odd team selection is that the bench looks better than usual.
chapero82 Posted 21 October 2025 Posted 21 October 2025 Coventry and Boro going up in the same season as us staying down would be a real new low for me

No way would i want to be manager of this squad we have right now 2
darko2k7 Posted 21 October 2025 Posted 21 October 2025 (edited) Terrible line up, however I thought the last one was a good line up and we were still mediocre. Not sure what performance to expect anymore no matter the line up. Edited 21 October 2025 by darko2k7
beepee1984 Posted 21 October 2025 Posted 21 October 2025 What is this line-up? NO Right Back - Hamza doesn't count 4 Defensive minded central midfielders - I would prefer to see James alongside Winks, but I like him so he maybe good in the number 10 Just 1 Winger Two strikers who on average score between them once a year Two Centre backs who between them are guaranteed a goal-costing mistake per game This is going to be an interesting watch!
funkyrobot Posted 21 October 2025 Posted 21 October 2025 15 minutes ago, Jonezy said: Soumare.... But how? Presumably Ramsey not ready to play a full match after Saturday. Ayew is the only fit option to give Monga a break wide. James is the best alternative as the next back up number 10, Soumare is the best back up to the position James has had to vacate. Hence Soumare starts. Unless you’d prefer Skipp? 😬
Lesta2014 Posted 21 October 2025 Posted 21 October 2025 I’m starting to wonder if there’s influence from above, being told that due to the money we are wasting on them they need to be playing and in the squad? Only logical reason why we have no youths who look ready at least on the bench (bar monga)
