We would ruin the careers of our academy players by introducing them into this sh*t show and players all of them would see us fare no better

He can keep swapping the players. The issue is still the system and formation is absolutely useless. Players are isolated, passing options are too few, defence is wide open. Tactically the man is weak.

Will it solve all the problems? No.

Will we get the replacement right?  Probably not.

But if they believe they can get someone on that can do better than MC (and not by small margins) then they should.

I've got very little faith in him, but I'll say the same thing I said when we sacked Rodgers, Cooper and van Nistelrooy.

 

While the manager seems inept, the rot runs a lot deeper than the dugout. 

 

I have less faith in the people picking the next manager than I do in the current manager. Even if he seems to be absolutely rubbish.

Yeah I'm not defending against that. Tactically we have not been good enough and I accept that argument and I am not in the belief for a second that Marti is doing a good job

 

My main point is that I don't think any manager/tactics will make a difference with this group of players, who just won't turn up for any manager. And I do think he is trying to make players accountable and is trying to make changes (at least in personal)

you can play any system you like but the majority of the players are not bothered or just not good enough 

 

plus we have lost 6 first team players and replaced them with one capable player never going to be pretty

Is he the problem though? Not convinced he is. Couldn’t name you a manager I’d back to succeed in our position. If a new manager comes with an entire new squad and DoF, maybe something might change.
 

IMO it’s literally do anything to survive and not go bankrupt now, then bin off the entire squad and start again.

Theres lots of things that are the issue at this club but the manager is also one of them. He is not good enough. 1 win in 9 is a disgrace, especially considering most of the opposition has been mid table or below. Yet again opposition manager changes formation, ours does fvck all aside from change players like for like.
