What did he actually do to warrant this job anyway?

He was cheap

And paid his own compensation. Started having my doubts when he was so keen to show his interest in our city, history and quoting 'Foxes never quit' etc. Good attempt to win over the fan base early doors to gain a bit of time.

takes more than 3 or 4 players to make a team and the ones we have are not good enough as we have seen over the last few seasons.

We knew we needed a reset and this doesn't happen over 13 games

But nothing is the managers fault and according to you players like Fatawu are playing well.

Currently 52nd n the league for creating big chances.

A category he won but some distance last time he played in the championship

Yea of course he can change things, maybe give him more than 13 games though and no other manager would play the youth and he would have the same group of players to work with.

I would be on board with this if there were literally any signs we were heading in the right direction

The longer he spends here the worse we are getting, he has had 3 and a half months and he is still too stupid to figure out that Soumare is useless, something we could have told him literally years ago

We have no identity, no system, we can't defend or create anything, he doesn't have a clue what to do to fix it as evidenced by the fact he has tried absolutely **** all to fix it

Isn’t the concern though, once the defeats become regular.

Any self belief is further eroded for this fragile set of players, with many experiencing multiple relegations.
That’s why the managerial merry go around is so prevalent.

If he bedded the youth and gave others a go it would point towards a reset.

What he is demonstrating is just more of the same, and with him under more and more pressure the likelihood of reverting to youth is less likely to happen

The other option was Skipp for Soumare there both as bad as each other Skipp slightly edges it, because we loaned an injury prone player we have no other options in there, yes he could change the system maybe he will over time but we still have limited players that actually care and offer something.

I thought we created quite a few chances today, there is progress imo albeit slow, which is to expected.

His problem is not just that he has placed all his faith in the wasters and alienated the young players like Aluko, Nelson etc. it’s that even though he’s used them he has shown no consistency in any approach.

BCDR looked ok in the 10 v Pompey (or was it Wrexham). Ramsey probably his starter. What does he do today ? Sticks James there. James is not a 10.

James and Winks look like they are about to build up a partnership. Changes it to accommodate Soumare.

Vestegaard and Okoli look ok at the back. Changes it to bring Faes and then changes it again.

Page, Nelson, Aluko, Alves etc. all given a (limited) chance early on now no where to be seen.

He can be called clueless because he appears clueless.

Changing him won’t change a thing but he isn’t a manager or a very good coach. This is his big break and he has fluffed it.

Great post.

Him and King are in the best position to bring the youth through and would know more than a new manager so maybe if we give them a bit more time we might see some changes.

Not the time or place to be going round hugging players, tbh some of them looked shocked

Give them the bollocking they deserve and make it known you ain’t happy with them

Ain’t got it in him, he’s too soft unfortunately

Massive concerns this bunch hire Russell Martin next. Massive concerns.

Rudkin’s Southampton fetish guarantees it.

I’m not sure how you say Marti is

Page for example started 2 both wins one assist. Not been in the squad since

We know for a fact that Soumare is terrible, he could have literally played any midfielder from the academy and at least tried something different

How many times do we have to watch Soumare amble around the pitch not giving a shit and ****ing up everything he touches for managers to stop thinking he will turn it around

The lack of options holds no weight either as all season it has been the same

Our left backs are atrocious and yet Aluko doesn't get a sniff

Our strikers have ONE goal in 1600 minutes between them this season and yet Evans hasn't even seen the bench

If we were losing games but he was at least trying to figure out a way forward then I would cut him some slack

But the extent of his planning is what flavour of rancid shit shall I pick this week instead
