I honestly think even Enzo would struggle with this lot. Last season and the start of this season has absolutely destroyed any confidence, moral, fight etc

Enzo had Vestegard and Faes playing as the best CB pairing in the league. Vestegard wasn’t even playing before then. Winks was the best CM in the league, Daka could hit the target once in a while, etc.

This side isn’t as talented as the one that Enzo had but it’s much better than how they’re playing now. No excuses.

Exactly, we still have Mavididi, Fatawu, winks and the like. There is enough there to be better than this

He's not getting sacked after drawing with 2nd in the table.

Is this how far we have fallen getting a draw at home to Middlesbrough acceptable

We don’t seem to ever have any momentum, but we are good at going backwards

True but I more mean defending leads … he just doesn’t seem to be able to shift momentum tactically

Scared to pay 3 mil for a manager but spent 25m on Skipp

we also paid 2 lots of compo to get rid of Cooper and RvN.

The guy doesn't have a striker that can actually score goals and that is not his fault.  They need to back him and get a striker in.  They are devoid of confidence again tonight after that late goal but they did come out with a bit of fight.  They need to stick together and ride the storm and push through it.  I think the whole group huddle was interesting and was designed to show they are in it together. Chopping and changing managers is not going to help the players.  The board cannot be trusted either....they would hire Russell Martin.

The championship is tight and tbh no team looks great. Middlesborough looked dreadful for their place in the table.  We need a striker desperately.

We’re also not creating chances….

This lot beat us under Enzo.

I get it, but the performances are more than important than the names of the teams we aren’t beating.

But we had shit performances under Enzo. This has been a problem for some time, and I don’t think any manager waves a magic wand and fixes it.

agreed but heads have dropped.  A goal or a crappy win from somewhere would make a massive difference.  When you are low you feel sluggish but a win will create a buzz and a bit of zip and confidence

This shitshow is 80% on recruitment/Rudkin and 20% on Marti

agreed, this isn't all on Marti.  He is trying to change things with zero backing just like previous managers.  Rudkin is incompetent and its a vanity project for Top who much prefers being anywhere but at the KP

How many chance are we making for this new striker?

Albeit Aaron Ramsey and Louis Page at CAM and the obvious wingers, we don't have any players capable of creating anything. Winks and James are number 8's who don't play in forward roles. Marti's hands are virtually tied.

We have had chances but have had Daka with a poor touch or falling over or Ayew holding onto the ball for too long.........

Bit of fight?  We were jogging around chasing shadows, were always 2nd to 50/50 balls.. thats not fight.. im honestly not seeing any fight whatsoever. Are people honestly seeing fight and desire?

None. This is a bunch of cowards with the odd exception in James and Nelson tonight. I really can’t describe how much I despise 90% of this squad

Our goal out put roughly matches are XG which generally means we aren't missing a load of chance.
