Remember Blackburn Rovers, what a team..Leeds united were brilliant for season's. We are again at our level because we can't raise millions through merchandise; Just enjoy supporting a club you love rather than one that looks great at the time What a loser 4

For the last few years the managers have been swimming against the tide with the players we have, but I honestly think this guy is contributing to the downfall. I don't think he is a decent manager. 2

Again, the type of opinion from someone who’s complicit in our demise, because of their inability to grasp how modern football/businesses work. Oh Pliskin I bow to your superior knowledge. How does a club such as us, Southampton, Ipswich, Norwich, Swansea deal with relegation?

Donwebbio Posted 5 November 2025 Posted 5 November 2025 He hasn't done himself any favours at all. He has some garbage in that squad but I would expect a manager to know his best XI after 14 games and a style of play to suit that personel but I don't think he is anywhere near knowing. Even people with half an idea about football can tell you that Soumare, Skipp, Thomas, Daka, Ayew shouldn't be starting games for us. Last night's selection was bizarre. Nelson playing after no league minutes. Mavididi best player on Saturday being dropped and Ayew playing 90. Ricardo not playing, Monga not getting minutes despite us not having a shot 2nd half. Okoli playing RB and then at times inverting as a CM despite not being able to pass a ball. It all smacks of not knowing which way to turn. 1

How does a club such as us, Southampton, Ipswich, Norwich, Swansea deal with relegation? It’s got zero to do with superior knowledge….. it’s a general consensus on a topic that’s been hotly discussed on here for about 4 years…… What have Southampton, Swansea, Ipswich and Norwich got anything to do with it? Have any of those clubs had close to £600m pass through the club in the last decade? No…… did any of these clubs get a golden ticket winning the PL and gaining all of the financial rewards that come with that and competing in Europe? No. The clubs you should be quoting are Bournemouth, Brentford, Palace, Fulham and Brighton…… who are far more stable than we are, at half the size of us and bar palace with an FA cup win, haven’t had the success we have had…. You quote Blackburn? Completely different era of football, the money in the game then was nothing compared to today….. So in short, the situation we’re in is like winning £200m on the lottery, and within a few years being homeless…. This has nothing to do with the clubs previous stature. And the solution is a boardroom of competent people who won’t make the same mistakes these clowns have. As it has been said time and time again, we’re not in this position because we’re little Leicester City, we’re in the position because we have a completely incompetent board room, who’s negligence has completely destabilised and destroyed the club, and continue to do so. To conclude, Top needs to sell the club. 16 4

Number 6 Posted 5 November 2025 Posted 5 November 2025 Potential points deduction doesn't give us the freedom to have what appears to be an average manager at best. The striker point is misleading as we aren't creating chances for them, there was one falling to Carranza in the box yesterday but a lot of the "chances" we create are set pieces aimed at our defenders. I liked the appointment on the face of it given the club's situation, and he said all the right things initially, but it hasn't materialised and I don't think he is getting anywhere near the best out of this squad of players.

Okoli playing RB and then at times inverting as a CM despite not being able to pass a ball. It all smacks of not knowing which way to turn. So lets say that you are correct in this.... No Ayew or Daka.... so that leaves us with Carranza.... he absolutely doesn't have it... Soumare or Skipp not in the Team... so that leaves us with..... Winks, James and Ramsay (which is what he was going with before Ramsay's injury) Outside of that.... you are looking at Ricky or Hamza in the remaining Midfield slot... OR playing Winks / James.... but then who is our 10? It can't be Ayew, because you don't want him starting games.... so it's Page? Thomas at LB.... the alternative is Kristiansen.... he might not be worse than Thomas, but how much of an upgrade is he? bearing in mind.... that if none of those are in the starting line up.... then our bench becomes: - Ayew, Daka, Soumare, Skipp, Faes, Thomas, Mavidi/Monga (Depending on who is starting on the left) Begovic, BDCR.... Now lets assume you don't want any of those players anywhere near the matchday SQUAD (because bringing them on doesn't improve the team) Our bench becomes something like.... Begovic, BDCR, Mavididi, Page, Aluko, Evans, Silko Thomas, Hutchinson?,...... Our squad is really paper thin on quality.... now, I don't necessarily rate the work that Marti is doing.... BUT..... it doesn't feel like there is masses of quality to work with... Edited 5 November 2025 by Greg2607 2 1
AKCJ Posted 5 November 2025 Posted 5 November 2025 I wish Leicester fans put as much emphasis into getting rid of the players and board as they do the manager. Cifuentes is about 70th on the list of problems here at LCFC. Cifuentes is not the long term answer to all of our issues but all that will happen is we'll spend a few million sacking him to bring in another Marti Cifuentes. Nothing changes until Aiyawatt goes. 2
