Been told we’ve spoke to someone managing in Georgia who used to play up front for Spurs, Inter Milan and LA Galaxy. Bit too niche for me to guess that but my source won’t tell me a name yet

Just for clarification do you mean Georgia the state or Georgia the country

Can we loan a manager with option to employ? Will save us millions in pay-offs following Dufkin's rancid appointments.

Guys, have some faith.

This board would never rely on an extremely inexperienced coach & Mike Sadler to steer the ship for a few games at a very important stage of the season, only to appoint a free agent that they could’ve appointed immediately.

This board would never do that.

If it ends up actually being Dean Smith after we’ve fallen into the bottom three I will have to salute the board’s commitment to its craft.

You just know that these idiots will be looking to see who Watford and Blackburn are interested in.
So I’m fully expecting Cifuentes to return or Will Still.

I'm laughing.... but nervously 🫣

Like an interim manager? Which can be permanent apparently 🤯

Give it another week and then maybe some of us could email Top and Rudkin just to remind them we don't have a manager. They're so busy with their polo etc that these minor details could pass them by

That never works.   As soon as Dufkin brandishes a 3 year contract - history tells us they turn into a muppet.   A loan with an option we never take up is safer.

Probably means he's not in line for our Technical / Sporting Director job, as suggested recently?

If we wanted Martin he’d be taking training at Seagrave right now.

You say that but it took us 3 weeks to appoint dean smith and 2 weeks for Ruud who were both out of work.

I am also bot being serious about Martin, as I have to joke just in case it happens. :(

True, but I just don't think we'll go for Martin. He's severely damaged goods now and I don't think Top will want to take that kind of risk. Plus, we clearly need somebody who will strengthen our defence and make us hard to beat, and there's nothing in Martin's CV to suggest he's the man for that job. Top's recent comments about trying to reclaim our fighting spirit and underdog mentality suggested he's moved on from his obsession with getting us to play like Man City, so I think Martin's time as a viable candidate for us has passed.

I hope you are right.

Unfortunately, following the selection of Ayew last weekend, I'm now 'King out'.

I was genuinely taken back by this choice. How can people not see that this man should/cannot possibly be a starting 11 player! He's the absolute dictionary description of 'substitute to bring on with 10 minutes left', and no more!
