Lincoln are 2nd. No way he'd leave them for this sinking ship

As much as we are a sinking ship, we are still a massive club compared to Lincoln.

Would be a huge risk, you have to seriously back yourself to take this job on, if he did it would be a statement. Take this on now and h could be out of a job in the summer or a hero at Lincoln who would replace us as the biggest LCFC in the midlands.

It will be Martin.

We'd probably quadruple his current salary.

Recent poor results as though he's had 5 games and we didn't have 10 men for the majority of both games lol. As you say, don't think he wanted it anyway

What a ****ing stupid article

How do Lincoln play? If they don't play with a single pivot 6 and inverted fullbacks without the striker ever touching the ball, no press whatsoever and the centre halves hogging the ball all game I doubt Skubala will interest the midget.

Do you actually think that? If I was a Lincoln fan I'd like to believe the same but he can come here and earn immeasurably more money, and join a club that has won the majority honours in English football in recent years. Best (or among the best) training facilities in the world, great academy pipeline, big stadium etc to work with. Plus he will believe he can be the man to turn things around and get a load of fake promises (or maybe the penny has dropped and they are genuine) from the board.

He takes Lincoln up and back down, he's not getting this opportunity again anytime soon.

The only thing I'm scared about is the egos in the dressing room, he needs to come in and straight away build that player-manager relationship.

Instill a solid system, with attractive tactics and a powerful pressing structure.

Realistically we shouldn't be going down this season. I think that's relatively fairly shown in the bookies odds. As much as we as fans will worry, we do have a lot of proven quality in the side and a half decent manager should get us over the line. Two centre halves of Lascelles and Nelson with Skipp and Winks ahead of them should be absolutely fine to build around at this level. Especially when you add in quality like James and Fatawu.

Which means if Skubala steers us to survival he will bag himself a good contract on a 7/8 times as much as he's on now.

Just a reminder that there is some debate about whether a manager would leave Lincoln City for Leicester City.

King Power Out.

With every passing day, we just seem to sink further and further. Relegation battle in an utterly horrendous league and now questioning whether Lincolns manager would join us. From being one of the best teams in the country to utter irrelevance in just a few years. Madness

We need a manager who isn’t impressed by the career of Ayew, from a footballing point of view.  As a study of survival and collection of resources he is a fascinating study.

Gareth bloody Southgate!

This wouldn't surprise me either and it'd be out of no where which is what we seems to do.
