Gareth Southgate has said that he is not looking for a return to football management, saying it would be hard to recreate the “higher calling” he found as England’s manager.

He said this only a couple of Months ago.

No way he comes to a job like this, with that kind of thinking.

Thank god.

I think Dean Smith is a decent manager at this level. The only reason why I don’t think he is for us, is similar reasons why Cifeuntes failed. He’s too nice.

With Top and Rudkin we need a ****. Someone who will call it. Encourage the sack. Enzo style.

Great to see us thinking outside the box with Smith, Southgate and Gerrard……
Here’s hoping a new name comes up today.

Gladys, and tomorrow I'll add Beryl.

Steve Walsh coming back asTD and Dean Smith as manager ……announcements this week is my guess

Steve Walsh coming back as technical director would be amazing, he built possibly one of the best scouting departments in the world when he was here before

Then left because we wouldn't promote him because Rudkin So absolutely no way this happens unfortunately

It’s mental, people need to wake up.

Its all made up, because there is not one single rumour floating around that has any credibility.  Pretty sure they have spoken to noone and are desparate

Totally disagree , his job if it's him is about getting our disorganised and unmotivated players organised motivated and getting results to climb to safety!

Agendas about senior management are irrelevant inho

Yes there are some who thought we could get Brenzo back!

Some on here are underwhelmed by Dean Smith and didn’t think he did a solid to good job when he had 8 games in 2023.

Some on here still turn their noses up at Rowett.

This is FoxesTalk 😂🤷‍♂️

I don’t know if that’s true. The impact of the poor senior management hinders any job anyone is trying to do with the football side.

They are hoping Kings gets enough from them over the next few games, give him until the end of the season then will be an easier appointment come the summer. (they are assuming they stay up)

I'm really worried we are gone, no leadership anywhere. King is trying as I'm sure he care, but its just a mess.

WTF are the club doing, we are sleepwalking to relegation, another loss incoming tonight just get a ****ing manager in. Love King like the rest of us but he will not keep us in this league.

I’ve no doubt this is what they are hoping. The two red cards in King’s first two games have postponed a proper assessment of whether he can guide us to survival, giving the club an excuse to dither. We should know a bit more by FT tonight, assuming we finish the game with 11 men.

Its going to be Brussel Farting, this brainless incompetent board has no clue what is right for this club and hasn't since Vichai died! Brussel Farting will come in and he will relegate us to league one where this all started and quite frankly where we deserve to be and belong with how we have been run. The endless wrong appoint of managers and players over the last 5 years is disgusting, They refuse to listen or change, So I can see this clown coming in to finish us off. Top will lap up his BS on how he will make us play like Barcelona and Top will give him a 3 year deal.

I really do hope it isn't but can only see him coming he's desperate and so are we, and top will lap him up I can see it now

I kinda hope its Gerrard! Pretty sure he'd keep us up. (Almost any, ANY) manager should able to keep us up, in reality. I just think Martin would be an absolute disaster, and he is one who would take us down, probably due to defensive mistakes, trying to pop the ball around at the back!

Dean Smith is not ambitious.

We aren't attractive. Anyone with genuine ambition will probably not be at all interested.
