Let him keen Wout Faes instead, we haven’t got a million.

We probably have, just saves Rudkin wasting it on someone shit in the summer!

They haven't got a clue. No problem with Rowett on those terms but could have been done at least a week a go. Shambles of an operation.

Am I right in thinking when he (Rowett) spoke about our managerial position the other day, when he made the ambitious comments, someone said he had been critical of the way the club is run?

Probably because we told him that he wasn't first choice and have spent the time since begging the likes of Dyche, Enzo and Potter.

Just found the quote

“I think the next step for Leicester has to be the right step for them because you can't go from winning the Premier League to being in League One in a matter of a few seasons, that is very, very poor management”

If you’d have offered this 4 games ago, I’d have said no… but I’m absolutely gagging for an experienced manager now!

This is where I am now. I think we are desperate, and probably dont have many people who would back themselves. So if Rowett does fair play to him especially if its short term, its in his interests for it to work out in some way.

He's got 14 games to save skins. Good Luck to Gary. I hope we all get right behind him.

Here's you first team selection, Gaz. I've done the work for you!

                                Begovic

      Aluko   Nelson(C)    Okoli(!)   Kristiansen

                      Skipp          Winks

    Fatawu             Mukasa              Mavididi

                                Daka

Stolarcxz Vietes Gray Ricardo Thomas Aribo Page Monga Ricards

Should at least get us a point at Stoke. Just want to see some effort

Literally no need to brand this as "underwhelming" - they've actually managed to find someone competent and agree to a deal till the summer. It is what it is.

Think Rowett is solid at this level but why take 3 weeks over it?

Because they were clearly targeting somebody else who ultimately turned us down.

I think now that it’s being commonly talked about in the national press just how badly we have been ran, he probably things he can’t really tarnish his reputation if it doesn’t work out..

I don't mind Rowett on the basis there was never going to be anyone better take us on in this position.

Just more confirmation that our "leadership" don't have a scooby what they're doing in taking so long to get it done while they embarrass themselves spending 3 weeks going after managers that weren't interested when we were in the prem.

Think he’s actually done well at Birmingham (first spell) and Millwall at this level. Also had play off finish with Derby.

Kept Oxford up also.

I may well get hammered for this but during the remaining matches we really need to get behind Rowett and, though most of them don’t deserve it and it sticks in the craw, this team of mercenaries. Going down to L1 would be an existential crisis for us. I also think it would make Aiywatt even less likely to sell as the club would be worth relative peanuts. We simply have to stay up and hope we can somehow reset with lots of big earners out of contract in the summer.

Considered not good enough by Oxford United in December, appointed by Leicester City in February.

Life under Aiyawatt.

I live in Oxford and the fans here still rate him. The view locally is that he was sacked because he stood up to the owners.
