Club Statement

I wasn’t there so I don’t know how loud it was or how long it was going on for. 

But - in all honestly - do people seriously think that those who chanted it actually wish death on him and/or have any intentions of physically harming him?  It’s not like they followed him home and broke into his house ffs.  Or maybe I’m not as sensitive as others. 
 

My immediate gut feeling, after having only heard about it this evening, is that it’s a crap chant, probably led by the bin heads of our fanbase.  But with no actual intent.  Feels to me like it’s a chant born out of sustained, compounded anger and lack of communications from the hierarchy regarding our pretty horrific demise.  
 

Are these ‘supporter groups’ being a bit soft and playing right into Top and Rudkin’s hands by ‘reporting’ this?  Rudkin feels even more untouchable now it’s been reported. 
 

The ****ing audacity of the club’s post is unreal. In what world do they think this brings them closer to the fans?  Yet I’m sat here still awaiting the findings of the internal inquest as to why we went down the first time round. 

For the record, before anyone chokes on their flask and has a hissy fit, I don’t wish death on Jon. But if do wish he left my football club immediately.

I’ve just seen the words of the song allegedly sung and I’m absolutely appalled. Shocked.
The syncopation is wrong, the syllables are out of kilter and the cadence is all over the show.

Because the context is the club making a statement about it. Only a few hundred/thousand even knew there was a chant, and even then most probably forgot immediately.

 

The fact is the club are inviting this 'but' because they're drawing attention to the fact that massive failure is STILL at the top of the club - that's why there's a but. It's not hard to see that.

I’m lost for words how the flying fck a group of people thought this was the right way to protest and make the powers that be feel uncomfortable. 
 

The board needs restructuring with Rudkin gone or KP need to sell, they’re all incompetent cretins.
 

But this was not the way.
