The line up looks better, but that is meaningless if JV dictates the tempo and always drifts too high.  Ricardo hopefully can pass the ball and isn’t as boring as he has been lately and Thomas maybe runs beyond the winger.

 

if Mav and Fatawu are in greedy mode then we won’t get anything other than countered.

 

If they pass quickly into space and flow as a team we could see something. Doubt it.

Seems really harsh on Skipp to bench him back to midfield. He didn’t concede a single goal at left back on Tuesday, had the whole Southampton team in his pocket.
