Heard this chant a few times in recent weeks and it got me wondering just how many of our current players I’d keep during this so called “rebuild” Top has promised.

My list is based on us as mid-table championship club. That’s our reality now.

Not including JJ as he’s on loan, my list of definite keeps is worryingly short…

Storlazyck

Okoli

Nelson

Chodhury

Fatawu (though he won’t be here beyond the summer)

Monga

Page

Mavididi

Aluko

S.Thomas

Honourable mentions but still gone -

Ricky P - love him to bits but I think his legs are gone. Doesn’t seem to get forward enough and lacks the pace to track back when the ball is turned over…which is a lot.

Winks - classy when he wants to be. Attitude stinks and doesn’t care about us or the club so **** him.

Skipp - always tries hard but just isn’t very good.

Decordova-Reid - I think he’s actually decent at this level but he’s not worth another contract.

Begovic - just old. I want us to rebuild with youth and promise like we used to.

GET IN THE BIN NOW -

Vestergaard

Daka

L.Thomas

Kristensen

Soumare

Ayew

Carranza

**** FAES. Sorry but I absolutely detest him. I would honestly rather we cut his contract now and had to play a youth team player at CB.

Seriously, we don’t have a squad of players worth keeping. We barely have an 11.

This isn’t a thread to cover up Marti’s ineptitude. It’s more just to illustrate once again how horrific the recruitment has been from that clown Rudkin who amazingly still has a job.

I'd make a change. I think Choudhury can go as well.

I wouldn’t fight you on it. I kept him mainly because he’s under a relatively decent contract, he’s still relatively young and he does actually care. He’s limited ability wise.

Everyone else, and I mean every one, is what’s wrong with our club at the minute and they can go.

Rip it up and start again.

We need to just play the young lads. Everyone else can F off. At least they’ll try, and want to do well. Effort and attitude over ability, reputation and experience.

Choudhury… you can’t be serious.

I get the sentiment but it's a shit post "non-league attitudes", complete load of rubbish.

For next season this is who I’d like to see at the club:

Stolarczyk

Nelson

Monga

Mavididi

James

Braybrooke (After hopefully a successful League one loan 2nd half of the season)

Page

Aluko

Any more academy lads that are ready to for the jump up.

Fatawu will obviously be sold.
Ricardo is starting to look likes he’s finished

The rest can all leave for all I care.

We need a complete reset and have a squad that are full of young players that actually show some ****ing pride and want to be here. We need to build something over the next few seasons and that’s the only way we’ll do it.

We know they'll  be plenty still stinking the place out , need a strong  manger to tell them simply your not wanted and will not play.

We need a leader on the pitch, in the dressing room to put the ones with a bad attitude into line. There is literally no one in this dross capable of it.

Yeah, I would say that part is quite unfair on many non league footballers, but I think I know what he's implying though.

I would actually keep Skipp, purely on the basis he tries as hard as he can and atm that is all I care about.

There is a dog in him and think he might find his feet and be an Important player in the championship. He was impactful today in a position where he isn’t natural in.

He might 'try' but I'm sorry, there is zero dog in Skipp lol

It's so awkward when your clueless manager has your League One-level playing ability, League Two-level mental strength and non-league level attitude squad mid-table in the Championship seven points above the relegation zone.

Of course it's a bit sensationalist, but it's not far from the shape we're in right now.
