Tbf I'd rather have Antonio on a short term deal as an option over Carranza. We most likely have no money to replace, and if we did I'd rather we spent that money on James. 

 

Plenty of people on here turned their nose up at Bamford, yet he has looked good at Sheffield Utd. Both are better options than anything we currently have.

Bamford didn’t smash both of his legs in a car crash TBF.

Nor does Bamford rely on his physicality like Antonio.

 

I view the potential Antonio signing, as an ok one at best, but a big question mark on his wages and length of contract.

It's fairly low risk for me as he will be replacing Carranza who never got off the bench.

Granted big big question marks over his fitness but a short term deal til end of season could work well for both parties.
