The levels of intelligence on Facebook make this place look like Harvard.

I have actually seen people think people are staying away as a protest against Marti lol educate yourself before you open your mouth ffs.

I think we will win tonight as WBA are a state, and I cannot wait for the "C WE DON'T NEED THE TOXIC FANS WE WON CUZ THAY WERENT THERE, NEVA COME BACK UNION FS" posts.

Hopefully we get pumped tonight if it means speeding up the process of a new manager.

Id imagine the seals are filling their flasks as we speak, Toyota Aygo's & Hyundai I10's across the county getting defrosted. Garden centre car parks deserted.

I'm certain there are bots by the club on the Facebook page.

Surely fans boycotting should be outside the ground with banners and chants directed at the board, it may get more people involved as well I remember this happening at Filbert street when I used to go as a kid and you would get the media coverage to go with it.

If they’re making excuses for the attendance already, they’re worried.

To be fair I couldn’t give  a flying f&@k if there is only ground staff and vendors there tonight or any other game.
you really believe the poultry gate money is relevant to the clubs future existence ?
nahhh they will just drop down leagues pay less money in wages trim the staff and carry on as a business

what is there 20k plus season tickets already paid for. A dozen exec boxes and corporation stuff   Yea ok stay at home and show them ehh

Hey, Hey.  I drive an i10 and I don't have flippers   😀 😀

It's a good job I'm not going tonight as I've run out of de-icer as well.

However, I don't own and have never owned a flask in my life or a knee blanket.

(Your post was funny by the way, made be chuckle, but still lay off the i10's...  good cars)

Everyone has the right to do as they please.

I am not attending tonight purely and simply because i working away

The boycott IMO is going to be a total washout.

How can you gauge the success of boycotting with people who cant be bothered to go????

Genuinely think the attendance will be down by about 3k because of being on tele etc.

A boycott is NOT a protest because you cant see the impact.

surely turning up and pi**ing off is better as you can then judge the impact and the numbers of people leaving

Be about 400 -500 MAX who boycott which isnt exactly a success IMO

It’s much more than that I can guarantee.

Yeah agreed but it takes time and organisation. This was announced a week ago and every chance, this will happen if the club don’t start to action change

Eh up mate, I like a good garden centre me!  Must have a good cafe though and home made scones.
I’d boycott if I was an ST holder and think it’s time for Top to sell and Marti to go - some very poor sub decisions and doesn’t seem to be able to inspire the squad consistently.

Be an excellent start if the case. This is not going to be a singular example judging from how people feel.

If 500 stand up for what they believe in, that’s the start of a decent away end at most grounds

Harder to organise and worth remembering at the last two fixtures, fans who’ve been loud in the protest have attacked by other LCFC supporters.

Those making excuses in advance ("it's the weather") would have *nothing at all* to say if they held no concerns that the protest will be effective. They're angry - that's a good sign.

Many (not all!) older folks will *always* moan about younger folks. As someone from an older generation, I'd say that the reasons are sadly obvious. They'd *love* this to be a clear example of young vs old, whereas reality is nothing of the sort.

Hopefully there are a lot of empty seats otherwise it will fall on death ears as a weather thing.

Getting outside the ground with a good group with some banners would have much more of an effect next time round esp when Sky's cameras are there.

They can, and did! Who is saying otherwise?

Their opinions are however utter bollocks

yes but its not measurable is it.

Whatever the attendance tonight, you / the club will not know the impact of the boycott purely and simply because of the folk not attending due to other circumstances.

I am massively annoyed with the club for the current situation from borad level down like many people are but i will still go because at the end of the day as  its my club.

Yes i will boo when players not showing effort, chant when i need to but i will still go.

But one thing for certain, players, managers, owners come and go the fans remain.

I started with the Pleat era and seen may ups and downs including the great great times. Its all about cycles.
