Only weak people feel pressure.

Remember Nigel Pearson after a home defeat against Crystal Palace in the 2014 / 2015 season fans and the media were getting on at him and boy did he stand up to both. The rest well.we know what happened after that. God how we could do with him now.

By the time he’s gone and a new manager is found the transfer window will be closed. So the new manager is just picking up a rubbish team

We have no cash.

Transfer window matters not one jot.

Marti is more likely to tuck an opponents shirt in than give him a good strangle

I may be wrong, but didn't hear any 'pressure from the stands' before Oxfords first goal, and anyhow, what a stupid comment to make. These players are paid alot of money to perform. If you go to a West end show, do you not think those performers are under pressure because of expectations? Blokes a clown

Pressure of playing for Leicester? I couldn't think of a cushier job.

Patson Daka is on £80k a week and has been for 4 and a half seasons. In that time he has scored 18 league goals.

A serious club gets rid of someone like that yet 90% of the club is in a similar circumstance.

You're rewarded for failure at a Leicester. That is the opposite of pressure.

Approximately £1m per goal. Thanks Patson!

Now compare and contrast

I think we all know the club is decaying top to bottom, inside and out. But it is quite incredible how two very simply graphics sum all that up perfectly isn't it.

The only expectation left is to avoid equalling the worst season in our history. That's it. The reason fans are increasingly frustrated, aside from the obvious lack of excitement and entertainment, is we are realising marti and his merry men may just be enough of a bunch of f**k heads to go and equal that.

Considering the circumstances of our team being full of x prem players, and our huge wage bill, it would be the biggest failure in all of our history, easily.

Marti and the players better start to realise that, else I see things turning proper ugly!

Was that the  'delusions of grandeur' episode?

I remember listening it live on the radio at the time and falling in love with the man even more as he was completely right.

A lot of fans getting above their station at the time and needed a check.

The two images are not contemporarily related even if both are utterly shocking and inexcusable.

The wages one underpins our entire fall in my opinion.

Lack of any smarts in the market meant we are picking up the scraps and paying for the privilege.

The crap we are left with are to stupid or indifferent to make the required effort, hence image two.

Any manager must at least try to fix two via system or discipline.

'expectations at the club doesn't help'.

WE JUST WANT THE BASICS DONE RIGHT YOU PLEB.

They're not that fvcking high right now.

This is just a ridiculous comment. He signed a contract at a club with a certain standing and expectation level. So what he’s saying is that he can’t meet our very reasonable expectations for a club of our size.

No manager with any self-respect would say such a thing. It’s a real loser’s mentality.

The boos following the first goal weren’t just about going a goal down. They came from a broader narrative of following the likes of the early goal vs Sheff Utd at home, the whole Coventry 2nd half, the whole Wrexham game, the talk in between from manager and players, which proves to be just that, talk, the overall situation, the season….don’t make it sound like the crowd were being unreasonably harsh and picky about conceding a single soft goal, it is SO much bigger than that.

And it was also so inevitable, like a bad joke, it’s become what this team does.

So why cant we win away when the pressure form the away support is much less intense? he's an absolute doughnut, everyone can see that its the style of football thats killing everything, its slow and ponderous, almost painful to watch, if we can all see it why cant he, he's gotta go now!

‘Delusions of grandeur’ was after we lost 2-1 at home to Barnsley in 2012.

Safe to say we weren’t much better that season than we are now and rightly had higher expectations.

It’s not abundantly clear what he meant but my interpretation was that the fans expected more but the team was crap. Needless to say the squad had major changes and thus reality started to meet our expectations.

He wouldn’t have said we should accept lower midtable like this melt is.

The crowd could accept losing poor goals if there was a response on the pitch and some real effort shown by the players and the manager, But we have the opposite.

Little effort really on the pitch and a manager incapable of coaching event the basics of a solid team, ie defence and some idea how to attack the opposition.

At Wrexham it was the weather, now its the fans next match maybe it will the wrong type of tea in the dressing room or something as ridiculous.

Just poor by him, give the fans a reason and they'll get behind you. Regurgitating the same crap every game and the players "learning" the square root of bugger all ever game with little effort makes us not want to back such losers.

The expectation is that the team try. Try to win, try to have a game plan, try to keep the occasional clean sheet.

That's not pressure.

The guy is fast becoming an embarrassment to himself. The only expectation now is that he gets sacked for woeful underperformance.

I bet they don’t feel any pressure when they pick up their wages.
I don’t think they should be feeling pressure it should be embarrassment.

He spoke about not pressing high enough! We haven’t pressed all season, in this league!!

He's a farce. When we lose the ball he waves his hand backwards. When we attack, sorry..."attack", he waves his hands forwards. It's painful to watch. He's basically the primary school caretaker who's had to take the Year 6 team out for an afternoon 5 a side tournament.
