Taking game time from Page is pretty explanatory, perhaps don't assume....

Without clear communication, assumptions can be made...

We don't know the severity of injuries - thats the problem. Ricardo hasn't been deployed in that position this season for reasons we do not know.

Reid and Ramsey - can they deeper in midfield? Golding - I haven't watched him closely so reserve judgment.

So that leaves us with three players, to cover two positions IMO.

Also James is injured, Hamza is always playing RB, and Winks is an arsehole who's been bombed out by *3* managers, so should be nowhere near the squad at this point.

Surely Kalvin Phillips would be better than this waste of space?

Yes…much better deal all round.

Harrison Reed would of been a better signing imo. Not been getting a lot of game time at Fulham so would imagine he’d be available

Should do a straight swap with Winks going the other way. Reed is also a Unique Sports Group client, and almost certainly on lower wages than Winks

Why do you think Fulham want Winks?

Being ripped the piss of by a club with about 6 wins in 5 years, yet with good reason.

It's just unbelievable.

Well I think it was pretty clear taking game time from Page doesn't mean Aribo coming on for him for the last 20 minutes of a game

Is it a sign of how bad Luke Thomas has been this season that I would gladly take Ryan Manning from Southampton lol

Southampton supporters think Aribo is rubbish so that doesn’t bode to well but they need to get rid of some of his £70,000 weekly wages I read last week. If at first and second time you don’t succeed with Southampton players, try try again, but if he’s not good enough for them, who are equally as crap, why is he good enough for us?

Whilst I agree with you, but most City fans said Perez was rubbished.

Barely played for Southampton this season. Weird signing.

Most of our Southampton signings are weird

He's cover for our (currently) two fit central midfilders, Winks and Skipp. Chill out a bit ffs.

Whatever he is, we need to start signing players on the up again. Bringing in players as cover, not better than what we have, just means they end up starting eventually as Reid and Ayew have done because the better players move on, and these are the replacements. We'll continue to slide down the tables until something changes.

Getting a player not good enough to start for fellow relegation contenders sure seems like a novel plan to ensure survival. Maybe the plan is to confuse our opponents with how shit we are 🤔

I don't disagree. We are where we are. In a heap of shit, but It's currently hard to see us doing anything but try to 'stop the rot'. No chance we can attract or afford players 'on the up', currently
