SafewayFox Posted 2 February Posted 2 February I can’t wait for Hilde Aribo coming on here, sticking up for him earning 70 bags a week yet being pony. 2
AKCJ Posted 2 February Posted 2 February What frustrates me about things like this is that these sort of players are doomed from the start. Everything about this signing obviously stinks and the fans can smell it from a mile away. So this lad is clearly coming into a situation where he will have literally zero room for judgment. The fans will (rightly) condemn a signing like this from the outset whereas you'd think the club would at least try to get someone that will let the fans get excited about. 1

With our love in for ex Saints don't know why? Just the small figure of £9 million which I think is far too much money for a player that has never been a proven PL forward. Let's be honest even Southampton didn't want him last season in the PL. 1
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 2 February Posted 2 February If we stay up we will sign him permanently and give him a pay rise. Mark my words. 2

J.Lisemore Posted 2 February Posted 2 February Southampton are confident enough to give us this player until the end of the season whilst covering a portion of his enormous wages, and we are within 2 point of them in the table. The joke is well and truly on us. Again. 2
Lesta Legend Posted 2 February Posted 2 February 5 minutes ago, suffolk fox said: why weren't we in for Adam Armstrong at Saints? At least he can score goals. With our love in for ex Saints don't know why? Because the likes of active premier league clubs like Wolves are after him. Clubs that can afford the capital out leigh on a fee on large loan fee. We cannot afford to compete this side of our likely PSR breach and we literally are scrapping the barrel of average players available on loan that most teams don't want. 1

Lambert09 Posted 2 February Posted 2 February (edited) I think he’s going to be okay, just enough that we sign him in the summer before he shits the bed like the rest of them and sits in seagrave as the new soumare on his 4 year deal Edited 2 February by Lambert09

coolhandfox Posted 2 February Posted 2 February People seem to struggle with the fact we have very little to spend and we are basically shopping in the bargain bin.
Lambert09 Posted 2 February Posted 2 February So I think I have a little bit of an idea why he’s being targeted. one of the most obvious issues we have, is the large gap between our midfield and attack. Joe Aribo is good at one thing really, ball progressing. I can only assume that he’s being brought in to help move us further up the field without having to just ping the ball out wide and expect our wingers to get past 3 men before we can actually get into the final 3rd. as awful as he is, this has to be the reason why?!
Bezzanator89 Posted 2 February Posted 2 February What's better? Signing another player from Southampton, who their fans have no good words to say about him, or no-one at all?
