Can't really disagree with not wanting to be charged about rules that were implemented a year after the breach

Yeah, you'd think but this panel thought otherwise! The PL were out to get us having embarrassed them but the ultimate responsibility lies with the board and their mismanagement.

This is where we see what the team is really made of.

Hoping this is the end, as it felt like it was just delaying the inevitable.

Every single one of these ****ers should be running themselves to the ground every minute of every game now.

Well we either start playing as a team that needs to win and drag ourselves up the table, or we carry on as we have been as get relegated. The new lads have an unfair amount riding on their shoulders at this point.

The club are complaining that the EFL paid insufficient regard to the mitigating circumstances .............. which are that we have a clueless owner and a numpty in charge of the football finances

This is the lowest ever.

Incompetence at every level.

No manager, no board structure.

Relegate us already.

We have previously been in administration…

According to John Percy.

Got away with that I'd say!

An acceptable outcome I suppose as for "got away with it" absolutely not, your mixing us up  with Man City maybe ?

we’ve done just as many dodgy sponsorship deals as them at our comparative level. We’ve just been ****ing dreadful at spending the money received.

Also worth noting our losses reduced last year because of the amount of ****ing advances we took out. Debt now through the roof.

So you're saying, if you break the rules and get away with it, fine?

As you say, the only difference is that we played it poorly.

The point of PSR is supposed to protect clubs from bad owners. Quite how hamstringing a club for 3 seasons and then hitting them with a points penalty so they'll suffer more does that, I can't imagine.

The truth is PSR is to keep the big clubs in place and smaller clubs down.

Notably the limit has been £105m since it's introduction over 10 years ago. Pretty sure the costs of running a club, transfers and wages must be considerably higher than then.

That is not true, loans/advances effect cash flow not profit/loss.

Until we get relegated and can’t pay them back…

6 is probably the best outcome with most fearing higher.

Can't wait to put my faith in this bunch of useless cockwombles to use this news as some kind hammer kick up the arse only for us to lose our next 3 on the bounce.

We will have to have the cash available, yes, but still will not effect profit/loss.

Sheer ****ing incompetence and twonkness is no defence ...... if it were things of the points that would be accrued

Well said Mr Smith

God loves a trier. Apparently we initially contended that the appropriate sanction was a delayed points deduction in the PL as and when we were promoted back to the PL!!

Hi there,

Thanks for your email, I'm now out of the office on annual leave and will return later. Maybe.

Before clearing off, he released a statement saying Top told him he isn't happy but he'll have to go along with it.

Considering the Teams down at the bottom with us with the new players providing a buzz we should be able to get back up the table quickly.

That's assuming the players buy into it.  Looking forward to Saturdays game.
